Our new bath and shower is beautiful. Caulking could be a little neater/nicer but fine. We waited the full 24 hours for drying and began to use it. The day after we started using it we found a wet spot on our dining room ceiling under the tub/shower. We called West Shore and they had somebody out within two hours to stop and fix the leaking. West Shore made arrangements for the ceiling to be repaired on a Saturday so we would not miss any more time from work. I asked for the local manager to give me a call and no one has communicated with us. I appreciate that the problem has been fixed but the trust is gone. Are we going to have further problems? I feel as if the company needs to make things right with us and keep the promises of trust and quality we were given during the sales pitch.

When I made the appointment to meet with West Shore I asked for samples of the windows so I could actually see what I was buying. I decided on slider windows but the only sample available to look at was a double hung which caused confusion on my part because I did not realize with a slider window it does not slide all the way over due to the locks (see picture), Had I seen the window I was buying I would have made a different choice. Also, we discussed that the windows would be made of thermo seal glass for energy efficiency which is a good thing but there was no discussion about the fact that the incoming light would be muted and there would be NO natural light coming thru. You see a green tint when you look out (see picture) and there is much less light coming in. My kitchen is now dark when rooms I did not have windows replaced are many shades lighter. I did not ask for the thermo seal and there was NO discussion of the negative impact of the light coming thru. The results are not acceptable. When you sell a product that is going to have such a dramatic affect on the lighting in a room, that needs to be disclosed. I would have never agree to these windows if I had know I would loss the natural light. I reached out to West Shore and hope they fix this situation ASAP. In addition I was told of the company always checks for lead as if it was a perk of using West Shore but found that I was actually charged for the lead test. This was a lot of money to be so unhappy with the results.

They were a little pricey but they did a good job. There were a couple of issues but they did come back to resolve those issues as requested. I would use them again.

Fabulous. I can’t wait until I can have West Shore replace my other basement windows. They replaced two of eight windows; I’ve already noticed it is warmer in my basement. So worth the money. For quality you have to expect to pay for what you get. West Shore delivers the best quality and service. I’m a repeat customer. They installed 3 outside doors 2 years ago. I still get compliments on them, plus I am so much safer.

On time, polite and cleaned up everything before they left. The windows look great. We have already seen a difference in our heating bill. They were a little higher in price, but you get what you pay for.

Feeling misled by the salesman, it obviously is not going well. Synopsis: The sales manager came to the house and said "This guy is one of our best salesmen with like a 94% close rate.", "There is no way that this particular salesmen would have said that.", "If it was one of our newer salesmen I would probably believe you but I've been out with this guy and he would not say that.", he then points out in the contract that "If you want to cancel, you'll have to pay a 35% cancellation fee." This tells me that this has happened in the past with other customers. He then followed with the "I'm not saying that you're lying but..." to which I replied "Why would I make something like this up?". When I said that there's no way possible that you could have ordered the door yet because your guy hasn't even been out here to take final measurements, he said that the door has already been ordered and I asked him to show me proof of that which he was unable to do "because he's in sales not in orders". Seems to me that if you already know what you are coming out for (which he made a point to say that it took him an hour to get to our home) this issue then you would have proof that the door had already been ordered. He stood by his salesman (which was the right thing to do from his perspective) so at that point I basically thanked him for screwing me, asked him to expedite the order and to leave. This company is expensive and make sure that you read the contract to verify that it agrees with whatever you think that you heard them say. I can guarantee that they haven't even ordered the door but they want to steal $2,700 of my money. We would have gladly paid a reasonable cancellation fee but 35% is absolutely unreasonable. We have no choice at this point but to go through with the sale. Unless this door is made of gold, I see no reason why we would do business with this company again. This is a shame because we thought that the salesman did a good job and was quite knowledgeable and the company had good reviews; but in a case of he said, she said, you will be screwed. DO NOT LET THEM talk you into ordering the same night. You may end up regretting it letter.

I can't recommend them enough. They're very high quality. When they installed my back door, they didn't have the right trim, so they were very conscientious about scheduling to come back to trim it right. Their doors are guaranteed for life. There was something malfunctioning about one door. No questions asked, they came back and fixed it. I actually was much more aggressive in negotiating the price because I did my homework, and I called them and said I want this done, but here's what I'm willing to pay, and they worked with me. They key item to emphasize is I told them based on my research what I was willing to pay and they figured out how to meet that price without sacrificing quality. They did it all in one day. They took out two doors. I live in a townhome community where the architectural requirements are very strict, and they were very willing to work with helping me match what the architectural committee requires. The architecture committee is very specific on trying to keep unity of similarity in terms of colors and all of that good stuff, and they were really wonderful in helping me do that. The back door off the garage included a keypad lock, so that no keys were necessary, which was a great help because my son always loses the keys. They also replaced my doors that were off the family room onto the deck that were original. They weren't very tight any more and there were all kinds of issues, so again they were phenomenal at trying to match what the association required for colors in terms of keeping the townhome community with uniform architectural requirement. They're highly professional. They will absolutely tailor your needs and work with you in terms of requirements to satisfy, whether it be the association requirements, but they also were very willing to work with me to get a product I really liked in the price range I wanted. I consulted contractors in the field to compare the pricing and they helped me have the confidence that I was not overpaying. Essentially, I have a couple people who worked in the field and I asked them for what I want, is this a reasonable price, and they said absolutely. I don't feel I overpaid, and they did all the work in one day, which is wonderful.

The salesperson was aggressive but the installers did a very good job. The installers were able to remove the old cast iron tub without damaging the tile floor and very little damage to the drywall.

Install went well and work looks very professional. Only problem was I had stated that I would be installing a storm door myself after the front door install. They neglected to ensure the brick mold spacing was sufficient to install a standard 36" storm door. This required me to have to special order one at almost twice the cost.

The door looks nice, but would prefer different sidelights. Unhappy with sales process. After project was finished I wished I had gotten different sidelights and had I had some time to think about it, (a lot of choices and options were presented in a short time) instead of being pressured to sign the contract because pricing is only guaranteed for a day or two, I'm sure I would have gone with the other option.

Installers did a great job. It poured down rain most of the day and these guys knocked out the job in time they specified and did their job well. Unit feels much more solid than typical fiberglass. It's more spacious then the fiberglass unit it replaced, without taking up more room in our tiny bathroom. They pull out all of the old stuff, put up their own sub-wall and attached to that instead of drywall. Also replace old plumbing in that area. Salesman had "hard sell" style... "price will change when I leave" type of thing... to make you feel pressure to commit. Salesman also said he typically stops by during a job to see how it's going, we haven't heard from him since. We just wanted something simple and solid. I felt once he couldn't up-sell us on a lot of the beautiful options they have to offer, he was a little disappointed. All that said, he was professional and knowledgeable about his industry.

It went fantastic from the day we met with the salesman till the day the windows were installed. We love the product, yes they cost more than some of their competitors but we feel like it is well worth the quality of the product.

Wonderful. Scott and his crew were amazing. They were informative and professional. I could not have asked for a better job to be done. My sales associate Walt was wonderful as well. He was great in the beginning and then followed up the day after the job was complete to see how everything went. I am very pleased. I will use them again for my next project also.

Prompt, professional and cleaned up. Responded quickly when a window did not work well and returning to replace the window and check the lock on the door that works hard. Great company!

I was EXTREMELY satisfied with West Shore.  The salesman Walter was an engineer by trade, not a salesman (although a good salesman as well) so he really knew and sold his product.  The windows are triple paned, low E and argon filled.  They have a LIFETIME guarantee on the windows, installation - everything.  The contractors where very professional and work directly for West Shore, so they have a vested interest in their work.  They also were knowledgeable on the windows, helping to demo how they work and taking the time to make sure all the details were correct.  I was leery to get another garden window in the kitchen, having trouble with the last one with drafts, water coming in and the warped bottom.  But West Shore has a lifetime guarantee - I saw how they installed the window and believe me, it's not going to leak and is SECURELY set in the frame.  Even accidental breakage (like an errant stone from a lawnmower or - in my case on my last window - a bird hitting and breaking the glass - is covered.  The installers cleaned everything up when they left and installed all 10 windows in one day (Had to come back for one window that wasn't measured properly, or they would have done 11 windows).  They followed up with a phone call afterwards to make sure everything was ok.  My new windows are great - no drafts!  Walter even had this cool laser tool that measured the temperature of the wall vs the window and the window was almost the same temperature as the wall - meaning, MUCH warmer in my house now!  Can't wait to see how much energy I'll save, both in the winter AND summer with the Low-E technology that keeps the sunlight out and will keep the house cooler in the summer.  Great job West Shore - I've already moved on to buy outside doors from them next!

We were very impressed with West Shore from the very beginning of our experience. Customer service was impeccable, easy to schedule with them and sales guy was nice and worked with us to meet our needs/budget. Installation guys were phenomenal. Over-the-top polite and very respectful of their workspace. We love the quality of our new doors and have already scheduled them to give us an estimate on replacing windows.
