I asked him several times for a receipt during all of these expenditures because he has quoted us a price. I said I wanted a receipt, but he never supplied that to me. His work was good so I don't have any complaints about when he worked or the hours that he worked for the job that he did. I thought that the pricing was fair. I would contact him if I have something small that I needed done. He is okay.

Pipe broke and caused water to leak under pergo floor. But the reconnected reverse osmosis water system developed a leak and the contractor never seemed to care about the damage to the flooring.

I liked Steve I'm still trying to get my husband to call him to do the work.....he was the most reasonable of all the estimates we received.....we still do not have our garage ceiling dry walled when we do I'm sure Steve will get the job.

Although I did not go end up having Steve do the job I do have to say that I wouldn't hesitate to call him in the future. He was prompt to response and show up to look at the job and get back to me. He was professional and kind and seemed very sincere. I have no doubt he would have done a great job.

I needed a ceiling fan installed, and some painting in one of the bedrooms. I was very happy that he was able to get the outside siding done. I wanted to get the pressure washing of my house done, but thought that he would have to come back when it was warm out. Steve did all of the inside work first, then as it did get warmer out, he was able to clean the house with the pressure washer.The outside of my house looks great, the inside of my house looks great, and I owe it all to Steve and Will. Everything went smooth as can be. They were there the day they said they would be there. They were there the time they said they would be there. and they were done when they said they were going to be done. I highly recommend Steve Gentile. He takes the time to explain what he is going to do, why he has to do it that way, and gives you alternative solutions to many problems. I think some contractors would recommend you to do something, so they can get more money from you. Steve shows you a less expensive solution and stands by it. He showed me some of his masonry work, and it looks great. I can't wait for my patio.

Steve Gentile arrived at my house at 7:45 AM, just as he said he would. He started on the garbage disposal, then finished the ceiling fan. He was finished and cleaned up by about 11:00 AM. I thought that was great, because I needed to be somewhere by 12:30. Great job.Highly Reccomend this Company.

Overall, It was a great job and experience. Steve takes the time to explain what he is going to do, just so you know what to expect.
When ever you want work done, and you have a budget in mind, To me that is the best way to go. Calling for estimates, and having different contractors bid on the jobs, is not always a good thing. Some contractors will try to beat other contractor bids, then cut corners to make up the difference. I would consider this a DON'T. Getting a Contractor who you are confident in by looking at their work and refferences, then having them work with a budget, Is a Deffinite DO.

As a single woman, its can be confusing knowing which contactor to use. Well, I can tell you calling Steve's home repair was the best choice I could of made. Steve is pleasant, professional, and professional. He corrected the siding problem in a timely manner . I will definately be using Steve to correct my double front entrance doors. Steve is hired for that to be corrected and I will be using him again for a few other jobs.

After a flood ruined my entire basement, a friend told me about this company. I called and Steve came the next day. He surveyed the damage and listened to me when I explained what I wanted. He drew up a fair estimate and the following week was over to start the work. What started as one big room, became a laundry/storage room, family room with a bathroom and an extra bedroom. After seeing the beautiful work that was done, I knew for sure I would be paying more than the estimate. Imagine my surprise when Steve gave me the final price that was actually a little below the estimate he drew up!! I have used this company for various projects since then. Steve just finished taking down wallpaper, resurfacing my old plaster walls and painting my entire home. He even installed ceramic tile in the entryway. Beautiful work and a beautiful price!! Steve is very professional and courteous, punctual and honest. I will definitely be calling him when I am ready to re-do my main bathroom. This is one of those companies that you can use for everything your old house needs (and your new house too)

Steve and His worker, Will. Installed a Chimney liner for me on Saturday. My Insurance company advised me to fix the bricks on the Chimney, then put in a liner. This was a last minute job, that needed to be done. I ordered the Liner, and called Steve to see when he would be able to put it in for me. I was expecting him to say that he was too busy and wouldn't be able to get to it until it was warmer. Steve told me he would come over and look at the job. Then He said, Will you be ready Saturday? I
said, This Saturday? He said, Yes, This Saturday. He was concerned about the cold weather, and the advise of the Insurance agent. He didn't want to leave us without the use of the Chimney, or the Heater. Steve Showed up Saturday Morning, Fixed the brick, then installed the liner. He said, It was no problem, and that he wanted to get it done before it was too cold outside. Thank you Steve and Will, for a great job.

The job went great. My wife loves Steve. As the job progressed, my wife was getting more and more excited. She kept asking Steve if He could do something different each time. We had looked at getting our kitchen done for a few years. We did have several contractors come out to give us estimates. When Steve came out, he gave us some great ideas on how to save some money, by buying certain products. He also gave us Ideas on design, and colors. Steve knows what he's talking about. My wife and I picked out our counter tops, Garbage disposal, Floor Tile, ceiling fan and back splash tile. He put in the Counter tops first. Once that was done, he started the back splash. My wife changed her mind with the type of tile she picked out. Steve took her to Lowes, and they picked out glass tile. She was very happy with that choice. Steve then did the kitchen floor tile, and it came out perfect. It was about 300 square feet of tile, and it has a design in the center. When it was all complete, Steve fixed a couple of small items around the house, and put in a ceiling fan, that we purchased. He didn't add the cost of the installation for the fan nor did he add any extra for taking time to pick out new tile. I offered to pay him, and he said, look, I love doing this. I love watching my customers faces light up, when I finish the job. That is better than anything. I would call Steve back anytime. I'm not a handy person. I love my home, and so does my wife. We want to keep our home looking beautiful. There is no other person I would trust to work on my home, than Steve's Company. I called several contractors to give me estimates. There was something about Steve, and the way he explained everything to me. He has a backround in Engineering, so he knows what to do and what not to do. He listened to what I was looking to do, Then asked me If he could make a few suggestions. He explained a few things to me that I had to do to stay compliant within My townships local codes. Steve reminds me of Mike Holmes From Holmes on Homes. He tells you how he's going to do it, from start to finish, and that he would have me involved throughout the entire process. He also showed me a few things that I could do myself. This was a great experience, and I am so glad I picked Steve to do our work. I wouldn't call anyone else.
