I did not use the services of this vendor. This review was not written by me.
"In response to the member's concern, the first call was to fix a leak at the toilet. We replaced the emergency shut-off valve on the supply line to the toilet. We tested it thoroughly and everything was working properly. We accepted the $40 coupon from the customer. The customer called a few days later to say she had another leak. We responded and found the supply line leaking. We replaced the old supply line and tested it thoroughly. The task of replacing the supply line was priced at a deep discount of $67.00. The $67.00 price represents our rate as if we had replaced the supply line at the same time as the emergency shut-off valve. During the original task to replace the emergency shut-off valve, the member utilized the $40.00 discount magnet she had from us as a previous customer. Since the second task was priced at a reduced rate equal to an additional task performed during the initial visit, a further use of the $40.00 discount was not accepted by our plumber. The discount magnet is to be used one time on tasks performed. To accept the discount magnet a second time for this deeply reduced rate of $67.00 would have left our plumbing technician with a $20.00 fee. During this second visit for the new leak on the same toilet, we decided to acquiesce with our customer and repair the new problem as if we should have recognized the possibility of a future leak where the supply line connected to the water tank. We feel our pricing is fair for the work performed, and we are saddened by the member's response. Up until this time, she had been a repeat customer, and had used our services for both her plumbing and emergency pumping needs, as she did in April of this year when the flooding caused the sewer system to back up in her basement. We responded to her emergency situation after hours as quickly as possible with one of our septic trucks to pump out the flood waters from her basement to try and prevent serious damage to her property, as we would do for any one of our valued customers.
