Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
Max start job on May 29 he and two other workers came in and take down old ceiling they work all weekend half day on Saturday but I notice the two guy he started with was no longer here I saw a new face second week I notice hardly nothing getting done some days he would leave at 12 or one I didn't say anything because he told me he would be finish in 2 weeks then at the end of that wasted 2nd week he say Sadie thanks for hanging in there but my ,2 guys I started with they are gone I started getting scared but the guy that came that Saturday I notice he is the main guy because that is the only time I see movement work is getting done but that guy come sometime and when he comes I have to give them extra time to work he is a very nice guy because one day after the left my power was not working and he left me his phone number to call if I need help with anything so he was decent but Max didn't like that any way max came in the third week with the guy that collect the trash at the end of the day and another guy to do the work because he has no proper help the trash guy sanding and paint and the other guy was sitting playing on his phone every 15 minutes max getting frustrated with telling me he feels like just say f it with this job then the following week that is what he did

"Matter is currently being handled by attorney and client is aware of it. Clients attorney has not responded to any attempts to contact. Client behaved in a foul manner on numerous occasions, prevented proper work from being complete, had unknown/unlicensed subcontractors performing work over top of our companies work creating more for us to repair properly etc. requested/demanded unpaid additions etc. written stop work notice was sent to client after 80-90% of project scope was completed with the intent to mediate and hopefully complete project. It was noted that the stop work notice could be temporary or permanent and the client chose to continue to be unreasonable with respect to contractor, subcontractors and the need for AC to be ran for drywall compound and paint to dry properly on 100 degree plus days in a house with no insulation. All work was thoroughly documented in a 30 minute long video with pictures, etc. When documented, Clients electricity worked perfectly fine as did every other fixture in the house. Client did have unregistered/unlicensed subcontractor performing electrical work the day before we issued stop work notice. It is our belief the client simply wanted the hard parts of the project complete so that her unlicensed handyman could finish it out for a lower rate. Client had stated numerous times she was running out of money during the project."

We used M&C at our prior residence for some heavy remodeling before we sold it. From the start Max was always on time and very attentive. Him and his crew did excellent work. Knowing he was involved with building apartments, we had him build our new house and we couldn?t be happier. From the interior layout to the hard scaping the job done was incredible. Hired M&C Contracting to remodel my kitchen, dining and family room before the Holidays. Pricing was very reasonable in comparison to other contractors. From start to finish, Max was incredibly professional and attentive to our vision and didn?t leave a trace of his work other than a great remodel. Would 100% recommend.

Hired them in September. Easy experience start to finish with M&C. I had carpet throughout the house over my wood floors. They came, gave me a free estimate and wrapped up the entire job within a week.

Unprofessional, unreliable, and no communication. They started a job, took payment, and never came back. I left multiple messages for weeks and no response. Home Advisor can not get ahold of them. They are scammers. Beware!

First crew they sent was meticulous and took time to prep before painting. Second crew rushed and had lots to clean up afterward. Overall, work was nice and would recommend them. Just make sure they tarp everything first before starting.

Wood Flooring - Refinish
I hired this company to refinish 2 rooms of hardwood floors. They came and did an estimate, gave me a quote, answered all my questions, and then I signed a contract. Communication was excellent and I felt comfortable moving forward. After signing, they told me they would come out to start the work the following Monday at 8am but never showed or called. Very unprofessional to leave me waiting around all day and now to start this process of finding another company all over again, I would recommend you shop elsewhere.
