"Connext Security prides itself on its highly skilled and experienced technicians who are masters in the security, surveillance, and fire alarm industry. Connext holds its technicians accountable for any adverse event and unsatisfactory service or installation. We found no fault with our technician in this case. We believe this rating to be misleading based on our experience with you as a customer. You do not state anywhere in your review that you initially hired another company who was not only unable to resolve your IP Network Camera issues, but that they had also compounded the issues making it more difficult to troubleshoot. Based on the information you provided us, the other company spent a week trying to fix your cameras. We were there for six hours and successfully reconfigured multiple IP cameras that were configured with unknown IP addressed to make them work across a bridged wireless connection. These are not just point and shoot cameras. Networking systems can be complex and sophisticated with IP addresses (that were not provided to us) playing a very big part in configuration. We require that IP addresses be made available to us during a standard installation, which is an industry standard. We were not provided any IP addresses. We would also like to add that during our initial consultation, we provided you with an estimated time of 8 to 10 hours and possibly as many as 16 hours, setting the expectation so that you would not be disappointed. You called us back and gave us a limit of five hours to resolve the issue. You then permitted our tech to stay an additional hour when on site. You expressed satisfaction and appreciation so this review is very confusing to us. We went far beyond the expectations that we set for you, cutting the time in potentially more than half. We stand behind our technician 100% and believe he went above and beyond any expectations that a knowledgeable professional would expect in the surveillance industry. Not all cameras are the same."
