BARR'S Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

The guys that came did a fantastic job. They cleaned my carpets like they were cleaning their own homes. They were extremely thorough and worked hard to get out any spots.

The guys who came to do the work were nice and friendly. They arrived in the window I was told and got to work. I thought the price was fair and they did a good job getting a lot of the stains out. It was sometime since I had the carpets cleaned. There were a bunch of spots and my second floor carpets were pretty dirty from having major renovations on my third floor. My unhappiness with the service and the job that was performed is with the perimeters of the carpet. They really did a lousy job on the edges where the carpet meets the baseboard / walls. Their machines couldn’t get to the edge and you could visibly see where the machine stopped. I was told the machine they use doesn’t go to the wall. I don’t understand that and feel the job was half done. They should have the proper equipment to clean carpets up to the baseboards. It stopped 3-4 inches from the wall and looked horrible. I spent an entire evening with a little carpet cleaner going over all edges to clean what they couldn’t and still have one room and staircase left to do. I am very disappointed in the job that was done and can’t recommend their service. It seemed to me it was rushed and no time was spent on details. They also didn’t bother opening closet doors to clean a little inside the closet. So I have to say there is no attention to details. I admit the carpets were really dirty and what they cleaned they did well but what they didn’t clean stuck out like a sore thumb. I expect the entire carpet to be cleaned as best that can be done and that did not happen with this company.

We had 3 rooms, stairs and a hallway cleaned one week ago. After the carpets dried, I could see a lot of dirt residue from the high-traffic areas. I called Mr. Barr immediately and he was very professional and worked with us very quickly to address our concerns. He rotated us back into the schedule from a cancellation the very next day. The technician, Ryan, did a very good job with recleaning those high traffic areas. I was very impressed with his determination to thoroughly clean those trouble spots. I so appreciate businesses who value their customers and are willing to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. BARR's did a fabulous job. I received a return call quickly. The rough estimate that was given to me over the phone was very close to the actual price they quoted when they got to my home (over the phone a little higher since I didn't know the exact number of steps I had) The two techs that came were very nice, and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. Everything was done within two hours. My carpets look fantastic and the formula they use leaves the house smelling nice too. I would definitely use them again.

The gentlemen were very professional, arrived on time and did an excellent job. The area rug gets lots of traffic and was very dull. After cleaning it looked brand new! The sofa was dry within 2 hours. I would definitely use them again.
