Let me first say that 3 weeks after purchasing my 2008 Volvo C70 last spring, I went to my garage and the vehicle refused to start. Matter of fact this type of vehicle relies on its battery to do EVERYTHING, including removing the key from it when it doesn't start. I called the dealership and they suggested I call AAA. I responded that if I needed to do that I would bring the car back to them for a refund. They then send a service person who could not figure out how to open the hood of the car - I had to get the handbook out for him. When he took the battery cover off, the battery was severely corroded. I take the blame for this one, as I did not look under the hood before I purchased. Obviously, though, neither did they. After I supplied the tools for him, the man got the corrosion off and the car then started. I took it up to Toyota where they then pronounced the battery and quot;just fineand quot;.
I drove and enjoyed the convertible all summer, fewer than 5,000 miles, and then garaged it for the winter. I recently made an appointment for March 31st for my and quot;free inspectionand quot;. About an hour later, they called to say that the front brake rotors needed to be replaced, as did the pads, and that the back rotors needed turning, and pads replaced. Total estimate - $800 !!!!!
Let me say that I did not let them do the work. I picked the car up and will have someone else replace what needs replacing and do the inspection. The battery also needs to be replaced. So much for it being and quot;just fineand quot;. Buyer beware, there is no such thing as a and quot;free inspectionand quot;! I will say, however that they taught me something about buying a used car. Always have an independent service person look things over first, and make sure that the dealership will agree to fix things before you buy - especially from Palmiero Toyota Scion.

Never any problems there.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS TOYOTA DEALERSHIP FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. I HAVE PURCHASED TWO VEHICLES FROM THEM. THEY ARE FANTASTIC! I KNOW A LOT OF THE SERVICE PEOPLE THERE AND THEY ALWAYS BREAK DOWN WHAT MY VEHICLES NEED SO I CAN UNDERSTAND THEM. I NEVER FEEL LIKE I AM GETTING RIPPED OFF. THEY WILL TELL YOU WHEN A SERVICE CAN WAIT OR IS NOT REALLY NEEDED. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND TO YOU PHONE CALLS AS WELL.

It was a good experience. Their service people are good and easy to work with. The only downside is that it's hard to get an appointment sometimes because they're very popular.

As my fiancand eacute;e and I were passing Palmiero Toyota one morning, a red Volvo C70 caught my eye. We pulled into the lot and got out to look. As we walked around the vehicle, the price tag caught my eye, and almost on cue a friendly young man named Joe Gugliuzza came out to ask if he could be of assistance. We asked a few questions about the car, then decided to take a test drive. Jay quickly brought the car to the front door of the building with plate attached and showed me into the driver's seat. We took the car out and Jay told us a little about it. I had decided that this car was going home with me, and Joe did everything he needed to do to make the buying experience a smooth one. Paperwork was begun and finished in a fairly good amount of time, appraisal of my vehicle trade-in was nearly painless, and we were almost on our way. The only hitch was the time it took for the car to be detailed and made ready for us to drive home. Other than that, I would highly recommend Palmiero Toyota and sales consultant Joe Gugliussa for your next car purchase!
