They were very professional. They workers were very courteous. The cleanup was good. We were very satisfied with the job. They were very reliable and very competent. They were very congenial and they did a very professional job.

Contacted Doug about receiving an estimate for replacement of very old furance and whole house A/C.  He came to the house within 10 days mid-July) and did a very thorough review of the existing set up and asked alot of questions about what we were looking for.  Very nice and knowledgeable.  After reviewing 3 options, we settled on an option and Doug was to send an estimate via email.  I asked for installation time frame, and was told approximately 3 weeks after accepting estimate.  After a month, I realized we never received the estimate, so I called and spoke to a woman.  She asked for my address, and located my file, telling me Doug would call me back.  I gave her my email address again because I assumed I gave him the incorrect address initially.  Another week went by without a response.  I began to worry because now we were into a September installation and colder weather.  I called the number again, spoke to the same woman, and she agaiin told me he would get back to me.  Without response, I contacted him via email through Angie's list, with no response the 4th and final time.  I then moved to another contractor.
As a professional, he should have told me that he didn't have the time and/or desire to do the work, so I could have moved to another contractor more quickly.  There is no doubt that he knows his stuff, but if you don't hear from him, don't wait like I did; move on.

He arrived to give me an estimate on removing an oil fired boiler, the oil tanks, and all radiators. I then wanted a gas furnace and air conditioner installed. This would also entail having a gas line installed to the house along with installing ductwork. He checked everything and said that he would get back to me with an estimate. This was on July 8. I had not heard from them in 2 weeks so I called them back. The receptionist said that she would give him my message. Another week went by, and still nothing, so I called them again. I was told that they were very busy and he would call me whenever the estimate was ready. Well, it has been 35 days and they have still not returned my call. Talk about bad business practices! This was not going to be a cheap job, but they were too busy!

They are very efficient. Their price is very reasonable.

Just goes to show - Honest, professional contractors will trounce their disingenuous, shoddy counterparts every time. You can't go wrong with these guys.

I have no problems with Puskar Heating and AC and they are good. They are upfront and honest about everything. They never try to sell me things that I never need. The furnace is a high efficiency furnace and they flush out the lines and put a new air filter. I have been using them for years. The people who come are good and they show me exactly what they are doing.
