New Choice did a great job installing my countertops at an excellent price. I would highly recommend them, with several qualifiers. Marshall, the salesman, speaks English, but the Chinese installers do not. If you are comfortable with the challenges that may present, the installers themselves are highly skilled. The second point to note is that they charge by the foot, not the slab.
The experience was much faster and easier than that which I'd experienced in speaking with two other fabricators. I stopped by the office initially, and Marshall arranged for the kitchen to be measured that evening. I elected not to go with the discounted granite they offered in-house, opting instead to choose some from Mont Granite, a supplier. I returned to the office to discuss how the slab would be cut, and a couple weeks later on the scheduled day, the installers showed up an hour and a half early, and completed the job by the afternoon.
My windowsill was complex to engineer, and here's where the communication was important. I'd thought we'd agreed to a solution, but the end result was different, and I wasn't happy. John, the owner came by and translated between me and the installers, who ended up replacing the backsplash and windowsill to my complete satisfaction. Make sure you discuss placement of holes for the faucet and soap dispenser too, or the installers will just decide for you!
In summary, once the communication was squared away, the job was affordable and professionally done.
