The technicion tested all the electronic parts of the heat pump. He was able to identify the problem, and get it fixed. He was very knowledge and perfesstional; answered all the questions I had.

The technician arrived promptly and was great throughout the visit. He took the time to explain everything he did/looked for, and also advised on some signs of trouble to look out for in the future. He answered all of my questions and was extremely friendly. We have an older system so he was quite honest about how long it may or may not last and did not try to tell me I need a new AC right away. I would definitely use this company again. It was a little pricey for the inspection, so check for coupons on local websites or in the Clipper. I saw a coupon to have it done for about $70 after the visit, but I should have checked before scheduling.

I called Meghan and she had a technician at my house within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem in about 30 minutes and gave me a few options to fix. I chose to replace the furnace as it was close to 20 years old. The same tech came back the next day and within 5 hours, I had a new furnace installed. I can’t say enough about Dan, the tech. He was professional, polite, and happy to explain everything to me.

They were very nice to work with over the phone, answered our questions and helped us find the right solution for our home. The workers that arrived to perform the installation were prompt, courteous and professional. The installation went smoothly, they made sure we understood how to operate and perform maintenance on the new equipment before leaving.

Our A/C and furnace hadn't been cleaned/serviced since we bought our house.  As first time homeowners, we didn't realize what really needed to be done.  I heard of McCormick's HVAC through a friend and thought I'd give them a call.  From the time I talked to Meghan first on the phone until the time I paid the invoice she was really helpful and took time to explain everything to me.  Her husband Jon did great work and didn't make me feel ridiculous for not knowing the in's and out's of my furnace and A/C.  I learned we have to change the furnace filters even in the summer! I'd recommend them and it was nice patronizing a local family owned business.

They came out to our home, on time mind you, without a huge window to wait. They were having a summer special for cleaning and checking the AC until, that we couldn't pass up for the price. The techs called and were prompt with their arrival. They worked quietly and were very clean and respectful of our home. After the check was completed, they stayed for all of my questions and weren't in a huge hurry to just run out the door. Service like this can not be masked with price. I have already setup my fall furnace check with McCormicks. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I recently just moved into a commercial lease property and wanted my AC serviced. McCormick's Heating and Cooling was very professional and prompt on their time of service. I would highly recommend their services to friends and family.

A tenant was complaining about their air not working properly. We had another HVAC company take a look at the problem and were told
the unit would need replaced. We contacted McCormick?s and the technician that came out said we needed to change the filter because it was dirty and restricting air flow. After a couple days, the tenants said the problem was back so the technician came back out. The technician took the unit apart and discovered tons of cat hair which was blocking the air from getting through the unit. Turns out the tenants had been removing the air filter which allowed the cat hair to get into the actual unit and block the air flow. The technician cleaned out the cat hair and, once the unit was put back together, it worked properly. McCormick?s honesty and quick response saved me lots of money by not having to replace an entire unit.

During the process of quoting this project, I explained that the electronic air filter system had been non functional and by passed since we purchased the home 3 years ago.  We were advised by a previous company, who had been servicing our old system AND replaced it 8 months prior, that we could just use a disposable air filter in place of the electronic assembly.   The problem was that the filter size was very unusual and required a special order filter.   During a furnace  "clean and check" by the previous company the special sized filter was ordered.  It took 2 months to be delivered.  McCormick's  took my hassle away by creating an air filter cabinet that would fit a standard, readily available, filter size (and left me with a years worth of filters).  I really appreciated this "thinking out side of the box"  It may mean less money for them...but surely much less hassle for me!

In addition to installing the A/C and creating a new filter cabinet, we had McCormick's install a humidifier that would operate based on the relative humidity of the outside air to make our home more comfortable in the cold dry winter months.  

The installation looks very professional inside and out, my husband was impressed.  The employees were neatly dressed, spoke to me professionally, didn't seem to mind me asking questions along the way and left the job site clean and neat.

McCormick's Heating & Cooling was very prompt and professional.  The tech explained what the issues were with our AC unit, what he was doing to fix it and how much it would cost before he started working on it.  Overall great to work with!!

Everything went perfectly...no complaints!
