I hired this company over another company with a lower bid because Window Genie claimed they could tint the skylights while the rival company said they could not. The window tinting was fine, but Window Genie had much trouble tinting the skylights. They left with a promise that they would figure it out. That was nearly a year ago. I had some communication in the meantime, and in May (2 months ago), they said they had it figured out and would be out soon to do the work. I haven't heard from them since and they are completely ignoring my attempts to contact them.

"Hello, We are sorry that you you were unhappy with the outcome. We attempted to tint your skylights three times at no additional expense to you. They simply cannot be traditionally tinted due to the bubbled angle and material composition. We spent significant time with the material manufacturer and tech rep in an attempt to find a workable solution. The cost of the tint for these two windows to you was $182.40. After consultation with you, we provided $1,000 (two person team for one day) in uncharged property service (pressure washing and window cleaning) to make up for not being able to tint the two skylights. We wanted to go beyond what was due in an attempt to make the situation right. You indicated that you were quite happy with the outcome at the completion of this service. As a company, we lost money on the transaction with you but accept this outcome as the result of seeking customer satisfaction in an unusual situation. My apologies for not succeeding."

Despite a significant mistake, I was pleased with the service that Graham and his crew provided. When the Window Genie crew first pressure washed my driveway and front walk, they used too much pressure on our sandstone steps, which caused some damage to the steps. Graham reached out about the mistake and worked to make fix the issue, including by paying for the repairs to the steps. Graham's willingness to own his mistake and make things right was noteworthy, and the quality of the service (other than the mistake) was excellent.

Excellent! Graham (owner) at Window Genie was a life saver! I live in an HOA community and am on the board of directors. The board members are in constant search of reliable, quality oriented, professional people. We have been in search of a power washing company for over a year. I had dirty and moldy siding. I bought 2 different attachments for my hose and tried cleaning the siding myself. Waste of money, didn’t work. I called Window Genie and someone was at my house the very next day for an estimate. Graham called me on a Sunday afternoon after returning from a charity job he did for a World War II Veteran. I live in a townhouse and share siding with my neighbor. I explained to Graham that my neighbor was retired, on a fixed income and financially wasn’t able to have his side cleaned. Graham worked with me to get the job done. His two friendly workers came out on a rainy morning. They got the job done quickly and I have squeaky clean siding.
