The doctor covered two separate issues. 1) our Doxie/mix had lost his constant companion at Christmas time...he seemed to be going through a grieving period. Not eating, not playing, just moping and sleeping.  2) at this time he jumped down off of a chair and hurt his back (back issues are common for Doxies).  
     The vet informed us that grieving among close pets is a reality. He gave us some very good information and quality websites to further our knowledge. The back issue was also a reality. He put our dog on meds, gave us instructions on how to protect his back as he healed, and what we might expect in the future with this type of injury.
     What really impressed us was the loving care our pet received from the time we walked in to the time we left. The front office staff is friendly, professional, and it is obvious they love their job and the pets we bring in.
     The doctor took the time to explain and answer any question we had. He had the staff call us a few days later to check up on our Doxie. When a question came up, I called the McKean Vet. Hosp/Clinic and was able to talk with the doctor who answered all my 'new' questions.
     They love what they do, they love and know animals, and they have heart. The cost is average for today's rates. I am very happy with this Veterinary group.

They saw him right away. Called the next day to see how he was. As always they(all of them) are are the best.

Always have provided expert, professional service. The doctor and his staff are top notch and always answered my questions directly and kept me informed about all aspects and costs of her care.

They're very accommodating and got us an appointment pretty quickly. Everything turned fine. We love them - We're very happy with their service. It's a very 'down-home' kind of place. They were very kind and professional.

Our puppy went in for 1st check up and all went well and we were given alot of pointers for training.

I have both dogs and cats. They mainly deal with my dogs currently. They are very good. If there is something that they can’t deal with, they’ll make sure to refer you to a place where it can be dealt with. Apparently, there are board certified veterinarians to do special things. My dog had an injury that needed special things. So, they didn’t try to do anything. They referred my dog to the best board certified veterinarians. They try to be very reasonable. If you get a better price elsewhere, they’ll steer you there.
