Forbes Pest Control

I'm very pleased with the service. Their prices are very reasonable compared to Terminix, etc and they were the only company I called that included the first visit in the annual contract. The others charge around $200 for initial visit then around $400-$500 for annual contract. Forbes didn't use upselling or scare tactics to make me add on additional services I don't need, like termite treatment. The owner/technician is professional, prompt, and friendly. And the customer service is reliable and friendly as well. I highly recommend Forbes Pest Control.

I called Forbes Pest Control to set up an appointment for the evaluation and treatment, if needed. A day later, Paul's wife (office/scheduling manager) called back to let me know I was a bit out of their service area. She didn't realize it at the time we made the appointment as she was concerned about my insect problem and making sure it could be handled swiftly. Honest mistake. I didn't realize how far away from me they were based, either. She asked if I would send a pic of the insect, they would verify what it was. If termites, they would come out and treat. If carpenter ants, they wouldn't be able to as it wouldn't be cost effective. After I sent the picture, I was called back in less than 10 minutes. They confirmed it was definitely carpenter ants which was good news as it's a cheaper infestation to resolve. They also gave me two recommendations for pest control specialists closer to me. Very pleasant, professional, and extremely helpful people. They could have just called and told me they couldn't help as it was too far for them. But, they didn't. They went the extra mile to ensure I knew what type of pest I was dealing with and recommended a reputable, cost effective exterminator for me. They were also accurate in their assessment as it was confirmed, on site, by their recommended pest control specialist. I highly recommend Forbes. If they went this extra mile for me, knowing they wouldn't make a penny, I know they are good, honest folks who will help anyone they can.

The problem has been resolved successfully.

I contacted Paul, the owner of Forbes Pest Control, the morning of December 23rd. He came to my house the very next day to check out the problem - even though it was Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, it was confirmed that it was termites. Luckily, because it was a warm week, he was able to complete the termite block service a few days later. Paul was informative, professional, and kind throughout the process, even though I was a nervous basketcase. I would highly recommend Forbes Pest Control.

Fine as usual. Paul meticulously sprays every room, including the basement and garage. Then he sprays the perimeter of the house. I especially appreciate his promptness and tidiness. I live in a wooded area (lots of bugs), and I sometimes get bugs/spiders in between scheduled spray treatments. All I have to do is call, and he comes right out. For example, I found a spider in the kitchen on Monday night (9/19/16). I contacted Paul on Tuesday (9/20/2016), and he came over that same day to treat my home. Added bonus- when he says he will arrive at a certain time, he actually arrives at that time. Very different from the majority of my other experiences with service people. Plus Paul works in a very tidy manner. He neatly disposes of all traps that he replaces and treads carefully when doing his job. Except for the absence of bugs/spiders, it is like he was never here. Also noteworthy is that he can also treat moles (they are the ones that leave holes all over the yard). My first experience with Paul was when I had a problem with moles in my yard. I contacted several pest control services and was surprised that they could only treat pests within the home (not outdoor ones like moles). But Paul can- and did.

 We had Carpender ants all over the house. My wife was going crazy. I called Forbes pest-control and set up an appointment within a day or two. The owner, Paul, showed up on time and was courteous and a pleasant person to deal with.  He did a thorough job. He asked a lot of questions as to where the ants were being found and seen. He addressed all of our concerns. We have not seen any ants since he treated our house.

Very professional and knowledgeable.   He came the next day after I called, which is VERY rare these days...   Took care of our problem, and explained in detail what this entails.   Very friendly and courteous also,  we very pleased with the service, and would definitely call this company back again.   We highly recommend them for any problems with bugs, or any other pests.
