Complication from surgery occurred and they were unequipped to handle it. Woke our dog up and we had to rush her to a specialist. No veterinarian came out when we picked her up or called to check on her afterwards. Care more about the money at this office.

They were so good with her and so kind. I got her back and got another year out of her. Dr. Ann is wonderful, all the doctors are really nice, but Dr. Ann is the head of the group. She’s really, really nice. Their pricing is probably about normal, I would say. They get you right into the room, I guess, they know how the animals are like nervous anyway sitting out in the waiting room area. They always make sure they get you into a room right away, you might have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for a vet. Which is understandable because it is a veterinary hospital. They get emergencies and things coming in as well. I have been using them for maybe 4 or 5 years now.

Everyone was wonderful and very sweet. The technician was great and the vet was wonderful! Dr. Grohmann got down on the ground with our dog and handled him with such care/sensitivity. She was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions/inquiries. We have found our vet for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend them.

They found out it was a urinary tract infection. Some antibiotics cleared it up and my dog is doing great now! The vet is just absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend her services!

I have 2 dogs, a beagle and a peekapoo. Well, I did have a peekapoo. I take very good care of my pets, and to be honest, I expect nothing more from a vet than to be knowledgeable and honest with me. My trip to Seven Fields on Thurs, 5/16 was the first ever visit, and will be my last. I had previously registered my dogs with the thought of having my beagle vaccinated. The issue was not with my beagle but with my almost 10-yr. old peekapoo, named Boogie. On the evening of Thurs, 5/16 I came home from work and could hear my little Boogie running around in the living room, having the time of her life. I went into the kitchen and began to prepare dinner. She must have come to me knowing she wasn't feeling right because Boogie began to have her first and only ever seizure, stroke, blood clot, or something that eventually left her back legs paralyzed. I scooped her up, called the Seven Fields telling them what had happened and I was on my way. They took us back promptly, the vet tech took all the vitals, and then I waited for a vet to come in. The vet then asked if we wanted to have blood work done. I asked the cost of that, not that it would make a difference, but let me just preface this by saying it was not even one week earlier my beagle had a very very expensive surgery to repair a ruptured disc in her neck. I said, and quot;yes, I need to find out what happened to Boogie.and quot; I could not understand how one minute she was running and playing and the next paralyzed. We were explained that the blood work takes 1/2 hr to 45 mins. to get results. The vet came in to tell us Boogie has two very serious issues - one being her seizure, stroke, or blood clot (I keep saying this because no one could tell me what she had experienced) and the second issue was her kidney levels were twice what they should be. She was in kidney failure. The vet then said, and quot;we would like to keep her overnight and start iv's on her on Friday for a and quot;treatmentand quot; to, I assume lower her levels. I asked, what if the levels go down, and then in two days, back up? Well, vet didn't especially give me an answer to that question. I then asked about her paralyzed legs. Well, vet could only say, and quot;there's no way we can tell without getting imaging done.and quot; I understand that and I also understand the cost of an MRI because I had just gone thru that with my beagle - $1,500 - $2,000. I had no other consolation except to do the kidney treatment with the hope of her kidneys improving and thus giving her back the feeling in her legs. According to the vet, and quot;that's a possibility.and quot; Vet wanted me to leave her overnight. I asked vet and quot;is there anyone here overnightand quot; Vet, and quot; No.and quot; OK, so I'm going to my little Boogie, who had just experienced a seizure, stroke, or blood clot in a strange place, paralyzed, all by herself? Yeah, that's what I thought. So I took my little Boogie home, tucked her in a padded crate, and hoped for the best.
Friday morning came with the hope she would have some feeling back - nothing. We then took her back to Seven Fields to begin the and quot;kidney treatment.and quot; I called the office twice during the day asking how she was, if her legs were back, if she had urinated yet. Mind you, she hadn't urinated since Thurs. when I came from work. The vet tech said, no - there's no feeling and no, she hadn't urinated yet. They were going to take her outside to sit in the grass with the hope that would make her go. I called back in the afternoon asking about her status, and whether she had urinated. Yes, she had gone finally in her cage. I picked up Boogie after work on Friday and was met by the vet wanting me to bring her back on Saturday for another day of kidney treatment. I then said, visibly upset, and quot;I need to talk to someone. If Boogie is paralyzed, what does it matter if her kidney levels are lowered?and quot; I was then faced with the hard truth that Seven Fields really had no idea what had happened to her, nor did they have any other option for me but to put her down. THEN, THIS IS THE WORST PART OF THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE. I then asked the vet, and quot;did she eat today?and quot; The vet replied, and quot;WE DIDN'T FEED HERand quot;. I could not believe what I just heard. I probably looked at her in shock, because she then said, and quot;do you want to take a can of food home for her?and quot; WOW, that is very kind and thoughtful of you. I said, Yes, please.
I asked, and quot;how do I pay for it.and quot; Well, you can pay for it tomorrow. Vet then told the receptionist that she was giving me a can of food, I assume to put it on my tab. For their information, I took Boogie home, fed her 2 bowls of the food, gave her water and rubbed her belly until she fell asleep. The vet then assumed I was either bring her back on Saturday for and quot;another treatmentand quot; or for her to be put to sleep. I was going to discuss this with my family.
I then awoke on Saturday, said Good Morning Boogie and she wagged her tail! There was no way I was putting her to sleep if she could wag her little tail. I made up my mind, I was spending the $1,500.00 on an MRI and was taking her to the Specialty Hospital as an emergency. My son called the Seven Fields and asked them to have her records ready because I was picking them up on the way to the Hospital. I guess I expected too much from this vet. I guess I expected a vet to come out in the waiting room to at least say, and quot;how's Boogie? We're so sorry we couldn't help her. We certainly hope you get some answers and that she gets well. I expected too much. The vet (I believe it was the owner on duty Saturday morning) knew I was there because the tech went back to ask her a question on Boogie for me. Nope, she was way too busy to come ask about Boogie, OR, she knew I would be getting the answer they should have given me on Thursday. I did get an answer from the Specialty Hospital, and it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Boogie had seriously diseased kidneys. So bad, that she wouldn't come out of the anesthetic to have the MRI done to see what happened to her hind legs. But, Seven Fields sold me a kidney treatment knowing full well how bad her numbers were. If they really thought they could help her with this treatment, then that just tells me one thing and that is they have no idea what they are talking about.
Well, I'm at the end of my review and my sad story. The professional and kind dr. at the specialty hospital helped me make my decision to put Boogie down. He sat with me as I cried and tried to console me. I miss her terribly and very very distressed. If I could get Boogie back and better, I would pay as much as I could. All I can tell the readers is that the difference between Seven Fields and the Specialty Hospital is worlds apart.
