Pickup was prompt. I did not give a "Have it done by" time/date, which in retrospect I highly recommend. Weeks went by, and on phoning inquiry, I learned that other pieces of furniture WITH "complete by" dates were getting put ahead of my piece. One of the drawer handles was missing when I sent my dresser. Frank replaced all with matching handles. My piece was done within a week after my phone inquiry

He carved and replaced missing areas and re-glued/restored the feet that were in pieces. • Frank took apart all of the pieces in the set and re-glued them back together. Result = pieces restored to their original sturdiness. • All marks/stains in the wood were completely removed. Finish applied is beautiful. Again, we’re so pleased we chose Frank to restore our dining room furniture. The set previously looked worn and tired; now it’s the highlight of the room!

Due to poor shape of original finish, this piece had to be stripped and completely refinished. Honduran mahogany required 10 coats of lacquer and colorant to restore original finish, so restoration took a little longer and cost more than I anticipated (but reasons made sense). Repaired broken parts and polished and restored all hardware and phonograph parts. Looks absolutely phenomenal. Never thought it would look this good.

Mr. Golla was very knowledgable about all the woods used in the original construction. He was even able to restore missing decorative elements. My mother was especially pleased to see her father's creation restored to its original functional state. We'll be using him again.

An estimate was done and we paid exactly that amount. They came a picked up the furniture when they said they would. No waiting. The rocking chair that was to be repaired was also accidently stripped. We received a prompt call telling us what had happened and the chair was refinished at no cost to us! All the furniture is beautiful and we could not be more pleased. We were informed what could and could not be done. Overall our expectations were exceeded.

FANTASTIC JOB! FRANK GOLLA REBUILT AND REPLACED PIECES OF INTRICATE SCROLL WORK. IT LOOKS BRAND NEW.
