MARS ANIMAL DEPOT

We have been taking our four legged family members for about 20 years. They are always awesome friendly, courteous and very loving and caring to our pets, no matter what the issues are. Dr Frank has treated some of our beloved pets from puppy through their entire life. Dr Frank never rushes through the visits and answers questions honestly. He has called us as late as 11:00pm about something. He has done surgeries on them, if they had to stay, we were able to visit them. When one of our dogs had to be put to sleep due to incurable cancer, the staff cried right along with us. I would never entrust our pets to any other Dr. We travel from Tarentum to go there, but it is well worth it. I would reccomend Mars Animal Depot to anyone.

Dr. Haustovich saved my dogs life at a fraction of the price of other vets. My experience with Mars Animal Depot has been extraordinary. My beagle was mauled by a much larger dog in front of my 2 small children. At the time I took my dog to an emergency vet and they quoted me several thousand dollars for surgery to save his life. I could not afford this so I chose antibiotics and a wound cleaning. A day later my dog was getting worse and it was apparent that without surgery he would die at home in front of my kids. I thought I was going to have to put my dog down. My aunt recommended me to Mars Animal Depot. Let me tell you, this guy TRULY LOVES animals unlike a lot of other places that I believe are in it for the money. Dr. Haustovich performed surgery on my 11 year old beagle and saved his life. Several weeks later he is recovering and doing very well. The price I paid for the surgery and all the related costs at Mars Animal Depot were FAR LESS than what I had been quoted at two other vets. This VERY FAIR PRICE allowed me to afford to save his life and not have him put down. Now my children aren't scarred that their dog died as a result of what they witnessed. This guy really loves animals, is super experienced, and runs a fair business. He is not out to make a big profit unlike most other vets. I highly recommend this place!!!

Please do not take your pet to Dr. Frank Hausovich at the Mars Animal Depot. I lost my beloved dog Norm and am consumed with guilt because I put my trust in an arrogant, incompetent veterinarian. I am too devastated to give specifics, but if you have had negative experiences with Dr. Hausovich I would be interested in speaking with you.

I have used the doctor for 7 years for my Great Dane. He takes the time with my dog. Even if we take her just for a rabies shot, he will check everything on her, not just necessarily what I am taking her in for. He is very thorough.

top notch vet, a great educator, very informativie. had a bit of a delay at apppointment but he is very complete with all animals and families.

They are superb, they are just great. They are wonderful with the animals.

I had my small 16 year old dog's teeth cleaned. They took her and did a good job with her considering she is very difficult to handle. Her teeth were cleaned and while she was under they groomed her face. Normally I just attempt to clip her myself because she bites a groomer. That was an added perk I didn't pay for.

We have always been satisfied with their service. They have taken care of my cat's basic needs through the years. They are professional and we do not have to wait a long time for our appointments. I have no complaints.

Dr. Haustovich and his staff are the most compassionate, caring group I've ever met. Dr. Haustovich read the x-rays from the Vet Clinic and assured me that my beagle would be fine. The Vet Clinic had even talked about 'surgery' - assuming she had swallowed something causing her problems. No surgery was needed! Mars Animal Depot has cared for my rescue beagle since I adopted her. I wouldn't go anywhere else. When you love your animal and they are in distress, you do whatever it takes......

I REALLY DO NOT LIKE THEM, MY DOG GOT FRISKY WHEN HE TRIED TO REMOVE HIS STOOL. THE VET CLAIMED MY DOG TRIED TO BITE HIM AND PUT A HARNESS ON HIS MOUTH. MY DOG DID NOT TRY TO BITE, HE ONLY TWINCHED. THE VETERINARIAN WAS ANGRY AND HATEFUL TO MY DOG.
