CTE Painting

Mike was fantastic! He came out and gave me a fantastic quote. I knew he was busy and it would take a week or two to get onto his schedule. But when we did was fast and professional and did a wonderful job! He does great work at a great price which explains why he gets so busy! So worth the short wait!!

Everything went great! This is the 3rd time I have used CTE painting for my house and every time it has gone great. The are punctual, professional, great painters and cleaned up well after they finished.

They showed up on time and completed project timely. They did a good job, not great. There was a lot of clean up to do. Attention to detail was lacking; windows were not completely scraped, nail holes not uniformly filled or sanded, lint from a bad roller covered one entire wall. Also broke a mirror in one bathroom. Offers to come back and fix and pay for mirror were unfulfilled after several attempts to contact. They were less expensive than other estimates which as oher reviews noted, I now know why.

They said they would be done in three days, and they completed it on the third day at 4:00pm.  Overall they did a great job.  All of the walls they did look great, and they used two coats in every room.  My largest complaints would be regrading their prep and completion.  While I will say that CTE was half the price of the other two competitive quotes we got, that discount includes a lot of work on your part.  We had to empty all of the curio's and china hutch, and book cases that needed moved that were not solid quality needed emptied as well.  When they were finished on the third day, they left behind a mess for us to clean-up.  We had a lot of spackle work that needed done around all the doors and windows, and the dust piles on the floorboards and floor were everywhere.  Moving and clean-up after the painting was included in the other quotes we received, so it just surprised us when we had to do it with CTE (but at half the price we now understand).
The quality of the work was top notch, and if you don't mind doing the work you'd be paying extra for with other painters, then I highly recommend Michael and his team.

CTE team did a great job painting both the interior and exterior of my house and they also stained 7 sliding doors. I called them on a Friday and they returned my call the following Monday. We scheduled the work in about two weeks.
I have read some reviews where people didn't even use CTE's service and the complaint is that their call wasn't returned. Well, maybe they left their message on someone else' voice mail. For me, to get such a good quality of service from CTE, I would call them back if I didn't hear from them. They do seem to be very busy which I think speaks to the demand for their quality of service.
The team was very professional and completed their work in two days. They covered all of my furniture and and cleaned up after their work was completed for the day. I used CTE to paint my house about 10 years ago and received the same quality of service then as I did this time. I think this speaks volumes about the consistency and quality of their work.

I am very pleased with the job Michael and his assistants did, both times.  They are very neat and work quickly.  They clean up after they are done and the paint looks fantastic.  He is a little difficult to get on the phone, but he usually gets back to you later in the evening. I appreciated the fact that he did not spend time on the phone when he was here doing the job.  He does tend to put the work off, but it usually weather related.  When he has an outside job he must get it in when it is not raining, so inside jobs are worked around the weather. 
     He picks up the paint and the cost of the paint is added to his labor cost. The paint his bought at his contractor's price, so he does save you a little money there.  He does honor the 10% discount coupon from the value pak.  All in all I am very pleased with his work.
