On time and professional.

He was very good, I have no complaints. I told him what the problems were, he was able to finish the work in a timely manner. Very nice, not very talkative but he seemed like he was more into doing a great job and finishing the work.

Not the most efficient use of time (a lot of chatting) but otherwise OK.

It was fine.  The man was very personable.  I had no problems and they did a good job.

Steve arrived on time, got the room prepped and ready to paint.  He painted two coats and c eiling and woodwork in a guest  bedroom.  He was pleasant and arranged everything in order when the job was complete.

Steve showed up promptly, was well prepared, did a great job, and was very personable.  I would definitely call him again. 

It went very well and were were very pleased with the work.

It was a great experience. Steve was a pleasure to work with. He left very detailed notes of all of his work during the day. Steve was punctual and was very communicative about the details of the job. Steve even worked on a Saturday to take care of a couple of other painting projects I wanted completed.Steve is a very honest and trustworth professional. One day Steve had to leave 1 hour early to take care of a personal emergency. He gave me a credit for the hour, even I would've never know that he had to leave early if he hadn't told me since I was at work all day.In addition to the above, most importantly, Steve does great work! His attention to detail is outstanding. He went out of his way to repair cracks and other pre-existing problems.Not only would I recommend Steve's services to a friend, I will definitley use Steve again myself!

It went very well and I would recommend Steve's services to friends.  He and his assistant were courteous and informative about everything.  In fact, I gained a good deal of new information about wallpaper removal, paint preparation, etc.  Had I further attempted to remove the wallpaper myself (which I initially tried) I expect I would have been at it for some very frustrating days and hours. I feel I received excellent services at a bargain price.

Everything went well. With one exception, Steve was there when he said he'd be. I think he balanced attention to detail with speed, so the paint job looks great. In fact, the house has never looked better.
The only issue was that he underestimated the amount of paint that would be needed, so there were multiple trips to the paint store. Other than that, it was a fairly painless experience.

He had scheduled about a month in advance for Steve to come on a Tuesday.  He called and e-mailed me on the Sunday before to say that he had overbooked himself, and if he couldn't come on Monday, it would be about a month before he could re-schedule.  It was fine, so he came.  I had a long list of small projects.  He had a lot of trouble staying focused on my priorities- he finished about half the projects that I had hoped that he would; meanwhile while I took a phone call that lasted a while, therefore I wasn't checking in with him for a while, he re-painted an area I'd done that wasn't perfect, but also wasn't even on my list of things I wanted him to do.
I think more disappointing than that, though, was his attention to detail- for example I had patched, but not yet sanded trim, and pointed this out to him.  He painted over it before sanding, and so now brand new trim looks bumpy and old. 

Steve & Rob both showed up on time, worked 8 hour days with only two breaks.  They were very friendly and professional.  But most of all they did a superb painting job  The quality of their work is unsurpassed.  It took three whole days for them to complete two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and kitchen.  They protected my furniture and carpets like it was their own homes.  They primed and where they saw imperfections, they sanded, caulked or speckled for perfectly painted walls & trim.  They cleaned up after each day. All this in spite of personal health issues at home.  Steve never once brought his personal problems to the job.  I am very impressed and so pleased with Steve's Painting.   You can not go wrong with Steve and Rob.  I will use them again if needed.  I give them an A+++.

The whole job went really well. I was surprised that Paul and Rob got job done in one day. The rooms look ready to go.

I purchased the $199 Big Deal.  Steve was such a treat to work with and he did a great job for me!  I was impressed by his quality of work and professionalism.  He has such a calm, easy-going disposition.  I originally wanted him to paint three bedrooms but time wouldn't allow it so I decided to paint the third bedroom myself.  Steve gave me some great tips and was more than willing to answer any questions I had.  He even painted around my light fixture so I wouldn't have to do that part.  But after I finished my ceiling and one wall I was exhausted.  I told Steve I was done and would have to finish it another time.  But to my surprise (I went downstairs and got on the computer) when I came back up he finished it for me and it was the largest bedroom I had!  So now I only had to do the smallest bedroom which I could handle : )
Steve is such a great worker.  He didn't even take a lunch break and stayed the entire eight hours! I'm a true stickler for time and he arrived a little later than I expected but then he explained that he wasn't familiar with my area at all and actually my location was outside of his work area but he wanted to keep his word and come anyway, which I really appreciated; a testament of his character and professionalism.
Anyone that hires Steve will be so happy they did.  Not only is he a nice guy but he is so knowledgeable and his quality of work is great!  I've dealt with contractors that are unprofessional, unprepared, and has a poor quality of work but Steve is the exact opposite.  One of the other reviews said that he is a gem among contractors and I couldn't agree with them more.  Thanks so much Steve!

Steve confirmed my appointment the day before and arrived on time the day of the job.  He painted my kitchen, including ceiling and trim, and did a beautiful job.  He used protective tarps and plastic, and my house was cleaner when he left than when he arrived.  Steve is a friendly professional, and I've already recommended him to several of my friends.

Steve did a real nice job. He did some patch work and then ceilings first with some walls started in a two day period. The next two day period he finished the walls and the two bathrooms. The end result is that our entire upstairs looks beautiful. All the breaks are straight and contrastingly crisp. It was a job well done

Steve did a thorough job and was very neat and clean.  I haven't really had a painter before so I don't have a lot to compare his price to but it seemed very reasonable.  It took him a little longer than he originally thought to paint but I attribute that to the quirky rooms that we had him do.

Overall, we couldn't have been happier with Steve.  He is a trustworthy and honest man who performs top quality work for a great price.  He was incredibly helpful in answering any and all questions and we will definitely be using Steve for all the remaining painting in our newly purchased home.  We have already recommended him to our friends and family!

His work was timely, neat and well done. He painted an additional door because it was marked up and it bothered him but was not in the work plan. I thought he did a great job. The rate was higher than I would have liked but I was very satisfied with the work. I will use him again.

Steve was very responsive when I called to schedule the appointment and he arrived at the agreed upon time. I showed Steve the work I needed done, he asked a few questions as to my preferences for trim, etc. He got to work right away with a pleasant demeanor and eagerness to begin. 

Steve works quickly and thoroughly with professional skill and knowledge to get the job done right the first time. He made no mess at all and cleaned up everything before he left. In fact, I did not find one single drop of spilled paint or over-spray from the paint roller anywhere after he left!

I will use Steve's painting service again in the future and highly recommend him for any paint job. He is a professional in every sense of the word.
