These guys were great. Very professional. There was a project manager on site the whole time making sure the work was performed correctly. The owner even came by to check things out. They used a quadcopter to take pictures and videos of the work as it was being performed on the roof and provided copies to me. Special screens were put in place to protect my landscaping from falling debris when the damaged roofing was removed. I would definitely use them again, no question.

Pathetic experience. New roof leaked in 2 different places causing condensation issues during cold seasons. George RAIN gave every reason from a text book / google search which would cause the water patch to appear in the ceilings. Reasons included Ice Damming, clogged vents, bad HVAC, bad sky lights etc. and many more. 3 different independent consultants were hired to confirm the leak was indeed from the roof. George Rain refused to leave my property because i would not accept his reasoning. He in fact gave a veiled threat that he has a good lawyer if this matter ever went to a civil court. I had the roof replaced again by a reputed local contractor. It costed me a fortune. It turned out the ice and water shield was NOT installed by RAIN remodeling Co. around the skylights when the roof was first installed. I would NEVER recommend anyone to hire RAIN remodeling Co. In addition, I would encourage everyone who hired RAIN in the last few years to engage an independent contractor for an inspection report. It is worth the effort.

"We did replace Mr [Member Name Removed]'s roof on July 29, 2016. It was an insurance claim. We do the work as specified by the insurance company. The insurance paid $5,326.94 for the entire roof to be replaced. In January we were contacted by Mr. [Member Name Removed] that he had a leak. The weather was bad, we sent someone out to assess it Jan. 31st. We shoveled ice and snow off of the roof. Where he said it had been leaking, which was close to the gutter. It was 'Basically Ice Damming which was happening all over Pittsburgh. He called again said it was still leaking. We went out each time Mr. [Member Name Removed] called. We determined it was coming from excess moisture from a few things, inconsistent loose insulation that was uneven from a few inches to over 12 inches. Heat escaping from a warm 2nd floor into a cold attic causes condensation so we had also contacted a HVAC expert about his concerns. He told us that this is a common occurrence that time of year. And based on the pictures he feels that some gases, moisture and creosote could be excaping from the connections from the HVAC air handler and chimney pipe which was directly below the areas of most concern by Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s. Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s refused him access too his attic, and basically threw us off his property. We are a reputable Company and we stand behind our work. Mr [Member Name Removed] has a 5 year warranty with us. If there is anything wrong with the roof. We have tried working with him, but if he refuses us access to his property we cannot do anything. We feel the roof was installed properly and his problem is coming from excess moisture in his attic, which has nothing to do with us. Mr [Member Name Removed] only received $5,326.94 to replace his roof Exhibit A he's asking for $7,500 and there is nothing wrong with the roof installation. Replacing the roof will not stop his issue. Exhibit B-Customer satisfaction sign off sheet. Exhibit C- Explains his problem. I would gladly post photos of the exhibits if able. Sincerely, Pam Rain"

Happened quickly, looks great. Martin is very responsive and available and set up the entire process with input from my insurance. The only reason I did not give all A's is that I did not get paperwork in timely manner and did not receive a copy of my warranty as yet.

.Rain Remodeling crew arrived promptly on the morning of April 4, 2016.  The structure houses six (6) townhouse units.  Day #1 involved off-loading all the materials required for a roof of this size.  On Days 2 thru 5, the crew arrived early each day & immediately began working, despite the fact that the week of April 4 was both rainy & cold.  On some mornings, there was a light coating of snow on the roof.  In my particular unit, there were known issues regarding plywood that needed replacing prior to new shingles going down.  The Project Manager & 2 employees personally inspected my attic before that work began & the employee spent the entire day making the repair while other crew members went about removing the old roof on the rest of the building.  Other than for their lunch break, the Rain crew worked consistently from early in the morning well past 7 PM each day.  On their final day on site (April 8), it was past 8 PM before they finished cleaning up, removing debris & loading the dumpster.  Inasmuch as I am the only occupant of the building who is home all day, I was able to observe the above firsthand.  Rain Remodeling did an amazing job, far exceeding expectations.  While none of us -- the six owners in the building -- had any input in choosing this provider, I did compliment (via email) the management company and our Homeowners' Association for their wise choice in selecting Rain Remodeling.

It appears they did a very good job overall. I had to clean up a little after job complete but overall it was good
Its about 1 year later and I believe they did a good job. They were fast and the quality appears good.
Salesmen tried to work with me
and accommodated.

TIP - Do NOT sign until after you read the contract thoroughly and until you are ready to go.

Ask if you can have time to review before signing. This is with any Roofing company.

-  FYI _ Insurance company did come out to re-inspect the work was complete.

- Showed up at house unannounced a few times. Just ask them to call first.

Summary

I gave a B overall because I am trying to be fair.  They did Quality work and were fast. The persistence was trying at times and the miscommunication over the agreement(at the end) was unfortunate but they did try and work with me overall.

I am glad I had my roof done but my whole family are glad the whole process is over.
Just be clear with what is agreed upon and  you should consider using them.
