The caller identified herself (Kate Forsyth) and gave the name of her employer as Benchmarq Homes - a real estate / home buying company in central Pennsylvania. She informed me that her call was prompted by a recent estate filing. Without even verifying that the property she was calling was available for purchase, she launched into a high-pressure pitch to buy that property. I was stunned to receive her call - it was unexpected, unsolicited, and arrived at a late, intrusive hour. I informed her that I was not interested. The call was terminated civilly and very quickly. Her tactics left me with the opinion that this company is what some may describe as parasitic, or "vultures" - preying upon the personal loss and grief of the unwary and unsuspecting. Not a company I am inclined to do business with.
Description of Work: Received a telephone solicitation from a representative of this company, who quickly launched into a high-pressure pitch asking me to sell them a residential property that I am responsible for.
