Tom's General Contracting

Tom charged my 85 year old mother $4,000 for the job a 15 year old could have done in two hours. He said his job was Finnished and demanded payment. My mother felt intimidated by his meaner so she payed it Do not hire this contractor if you want to consider tom a contractor. More like a fraud im my opinion. There is pictures of toms $4,000 job and pictures of another contractor of what was expected.

I like the fact that Tom has been in this business for 17 years and he is locally owned (by himself). So many companies have their salesman look at the job and then there is a disconnect between the salesman and the work people. Too much middlemen just adds to the cost. Tom is traditional kind of business model and that is great. He looks at the job, gives you a proposal and then supervises the work. For our gutter job, his employee Marcus did most of the actual installation, but Tom was here each day for oversight at the beginning of the day. He is polite, as was Marcus. They start and finish the work promptly. I definitely would recommend him.

Tom and his team are extremely professional and efficient. They did a great job on the gutters and also pointed out other problem areas with the roof flashing and chimneys that needed to be addressed to avoid potential water damage in the house. Tom took pictures then offered suggestions and options for addressing each item. He provided a full explanation and fair price to complete them while he was still on site (also without a pressure-sales or scare-tactic approach). They left the job site clean and beds around the house undamaged. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend Tom and his team.

Tom responded right away when I needed a quick patch on my roof following a storm that blew a branch on to my roof and punched a hole in one of the shingles. He returned a few days later and fixed the area properly as promised. He was very easy to deal with and did a great job.
