Wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Tom Starke and his company. His company does all the yard work for our church and they gave us the recommendation. They spent a lot of time at the house and the yard looked great when they were finished. The total price for the job seemed very reasonable.

My house is being renovated & we needed the driveway cleared so the carpenters & workmen could get their vehicles up to house.
We contracted to have the snow removed on Monday, but the provider didn't show up until Tuesday. Our workers came & left on Monday putting us behind in our schedule.
When the provider showed up on Tuesday he would have left again if one of the people working on the house hadn't been there & encouraged him to stay & plow.(he had to be shown where the driveway was , because he couldn't bother to check )
We were also told that the cost would be $150 & we got a bill for $200.
When we called to say that they hadn't shown up when they'd agreed to the person we spoke to told us that we didn't have to use them again.
I thought they were rude & unprofessional & would not use them again.

Estimate was for $800 ended up being $1200 because it ended up being 'more work' than was originally thought. This was accurate in our opinion but final price changed from original estimate which was not expected. Still believe final price was fair. Quality and professionalism were good. Crew did a great job. In terms of responsiveness and functionality, we had a hard time getting dates confirmed and once they were confirmed the crew ended up coming at an earlier date than was scheduled. Although acceptable, we didn't expect to see them when we did. Time from first contact to final service was too long, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the harsh winter and lots of tree work demand.
We'll absolutely will give them another shot when we need more tree servicing since we want to support the 'small businesses' in this category and also think they deserve a second try.

"The estimate of the work changed when the customer was no longer paying for a large tree removal but instead the neighbor was paying for it. This did change the estimate because the work was being priced as a group rate of work to include large removal; however once the major tree was removed, the estimate was adjusted for the work being done as well as the additional work the customer added to the job which was an additional section by the other neighbor. We did show up the day scheduled as we had left a message of the date change a few days earlier due to changes in our schedule. We apologize we could not give more notice. The work has taken a long time to schedule due to the severe storms we have been getting since the February ice storm. We work 7 days a week and try our best to communicate with all of our customers to ensure they are happy with their experience with Starke Tree Care."

They did very well, Came out the day after I called and gave a free written estimate. Estimate was spot on and not extra charges came up while doing the work. These guys were quick, safe, and very good at what they do.
