+ -1 moreWHEN THE BILL CAME IN WE WERE UPSET, WE WERE CHARGED $1,700. HE CHARGED FOR THE DIVER THAT WE SENT HOME ($300) AND HE CHARGED ($400) FOR HIS DISSERTATION. WE WERE NOT SATISFIED WITH HIS CHARGES AND ASKED FOR HIM TO REVIEW HIS CHARGES. HE NEVER DID THIS. HE DID NOT CALL US BACK TO DISCUSS THE BILL. I WAS SERVED WITH PAPERS WHEN HE SUED ME. WE COULD HAVE RESOLVED THIS WITH A PHONE CALL. IT WAS NOT NECESSARY FOR LAWYERS TO GET INVOLVED. WE SETTLED FOR $1,300. I HAD THE POOL CLOSED BY ANOTHER COMPANY FOR $300. I WAS WARNED BY MY FRIENDS WHO HAD STOPPED USING HIS SERVICES THAT HIS PRICES WERE INFLATED. BUYER BEWARE! NOW I CONSULT MY FRIENDS BEFORE HIRING ANY ONE THAT I DO NOT KNOW.
Description of Work: WE WERE NEW TO THE HOUSE AND POOL LAST YEAR. WE ASKED RST POOL SERVICE TO OPEN OUR POOL IN THE SPRING OF 04. MR. THOMAS CAME OUT AND GAVE A DISSERTATION ON THE POOL AND ITS CARE. HE THEN OPENED THE POOL. HE SENT A DIVER OUR TO SNAP IN A COVER IN THE DEEP END OF POOL, BUT MY SON HAD ALREADY SNAPPED TO COVER INTO PLACE. WE TOLD THE DIVER THE LEAVE. THE WORK PERFORMED WAS GOOD.
