+ -1 moreWent well. Did not go with this company because we found another that could offer more graphic services, such as coming up with a unique way to display the posters. Representative of this company was very courteous and forthcoming about pricing, materials. Estimates were good. Just not sure my particular requirement was this company's niche with regard to the displaying of posters. Because I am based in NC, I needed a company that could give me everything turn-key. If I'd been based in PA, I would have used Legnini for the display cases and counter and found someone else to do the framing/poster display. If another project arises where I need a contractor, I'll call this company again.
Description of Work: Contacted this company to assist with product display cases and frames for posters in our new corporate lobby. In addition, we needed a counter constructed for our demo area in the office suite.

+ -1 moreDAVE LEGNINI WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING THE JOB. A VERY GENIAL MAN, HE SMILED AND PROMISED TO DO WHATEVER I REQUESTED. HOWEVER, HE DIDN'T FULFILL HIS PROMISES. MITCH HANDMAN APPEARED TO HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON AND VISITED THE HOUSE TWICE IN 2 YEARS. ONCE HE SEEMED TO REALIZE THAT WE WERE GENUINELY UNHAPPY, HE PUT A MECHANICS LIEN ON OUR HOUSE, KNOWING FULL WELL THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO OWED US MONEY. I FOUND HIM TO BE THOROUGHLY DECEITFUL AND MANIPULATIVE. HE APPEARS TO HAVE NO REAL INTEREST IN RESOLVING THIS MATTER SATISFACTORILY, WHICH WOULD REQUIRE A FINANCIAL SETTLEMENT THAT WOULD ENABLE US TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT APPROPRIATELY. WE DO NOT WANT HIS MEN ON OUR PROPERTY ANYMORE. HE HAS CAUSED UNDUE DISTRESS TO 2 ELDERLY INDIVIDUALS WHO MOVED HERE TO MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER. THEIR STRESS CONTINUES BECAUSE HE DRAGS OUT ANY RESOLUTION, TRYING TO KEEP US FROM FILING A LAW SUIT.
Description of Work: A HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE ADDITION TO MY HOME WAS BUILT FOR MY ELDERLY INFIRM PARENTS. MY MOTHER'S BATHROOM WAS NOT BUILT WITH A PROPER HANDICAP RAMP, AS SHOWN IN OUR ARCHITECT'S DRAWINGS. THE RAMP INTO THE HOUSE HAS NEVER BEEN PROPERLY SET. WORKMANSHIP WAS POOR. INAPPROPRIATE MATERIALS WERE USED. WORKERS WERE INEXPERIENCED. WORK REMAINS INCOMPLETE. THEY FAILED TO PROVIDE INVOICES TO OUR ARCHITECT SO THAT HE WOULD BE ON NOTICE TO REVIEW THEIR WORK, AS REQUIRED BY OUR CONTRACT. WE PAID THEM IMMEDIATELY. THEY HAVE NOT OPERATED IN GOOD FAITH. WE DO NOT WANT THEM ON OUR PROPERTY ANYMORE.
