Our local Nucleus office has been in the Philadelphia area for several years. Fred Jackson is the Area Director responsible for this location. Fred responded within hours of my request, and came to my house the next day. He wore a mask and was appropriately distanced. He was very friendly and completed the work quickly and efficiently, answering all my questions.

The exchange took 3 hours and we didn't lose anything. My conversion was slow because it was from an old laptop, to a new tower. My wife's went from an old XP tower to a new tower. Fred recommended that we also add in a Webroot program for $38.00 annually to cover all attacks. He is a true expert with computers, especially Micro Soft!

Service was excellent! Easy appointment scheduling on-line and service performed next day (on a Sunday no less) which was very convenient. Work could be done remotely, which was also very convenient. Best of all, the issue was quickly amended. Thank you!

Great! Fred quickly evaluated my home wifi (which was slow) and recommended a solution to improve it. Once I purchase the recommended hardware, Fred will be back to help me install and setup. Beyond my wifi, I would definitely contact Nucleus and Fred again for help with any home technology issues.

Fred was able to "untangle" what seemdm like a complex problem and then showed me not only the problem but how he had resolved it and how I should scan and e-mail material in the future. It took several hours. I was impressed with Fred. He looks and acted like a professional. I definitely would use him or some one from his group again to fix my computer problems.. It is not easy to find good, reliable computer "fixers".

New to Wayne, finding a computer repair person that I could trust in my home and via remote was daunting. Once again I depended on Angie's List. I called Nucleus and had an appointment with its owner Fred Jackson the next afternoon. Contacted me a few times to confirm our appointment and was right on time. What a great guy. He was able to retrieve the disc by taking apart the back of my machine, work around the tape holding it together, and put it back together. Since there was time left on the clock, with my permission, he went ahead and cleaned up my computer (always needs that) and we resolved to set up a remote connection if I needed it. He didn't rush; was easy to have in the house; and was a source of some recommendations for help I needed in some other areas of home. I recommend him wholeheartedly. Intend to use him to purchase my next computer.

Fred & Jason are fantastic to work with. As someone who has limited knowledge of what sort of things are needed to make sure my company is setup correctly, they made it easy. They really took their time explaining things, were happy to answer all the questions I had for them, and then have continued to be incredibly responsive since the transition. Fred Jackson (the co-owner of Nucleus Computer Services) came out today at 10am, promptly as scheduled. He took his time, patiently diagnosing the issue and using various anti-virus programs on both computers and was able to successfully remove the viruses on both computers. Fred patiently answered all of my questions, was very professional in getting the job done and was extremely friendly and easy to work with.
I recommend Nucleus Computer Services highly and Fred, in particular. Fred exceeded my expectations - I would not hesitate to use Nucleus Computer Services again for any other computer-related issue!

Fred did a very good job. Had I set the PC up on my own, I would have surely lost some important data. I thought that it was backed up but it was not. I recommend Fred and will use him again when needed.

Mr. Jackson has done work for me several times before, and most recently I treated an elderly friend who was having problems with her computer to his services. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Jackson. Previously, I had tried a variety of other local providers, and some were better than others, but I was not really satisfied with any of them for various reasons.
I wouldn't consider calling anyone else now but Mr . Jackson. He is head and shoulders above the rest.
He is mature, professional, dependable, calm, gets its all done in a very timely fashion, and explains everything. I've stopped worrying when things go wrong with my computer now that I know that I can call him. My friend was likewise thrilled with the kind, fast and professional manner in which he resolved the problems with her unit.
And just to make it even better, his prices are better than many of the less well-qualified individuals that I have used in the past. Doesn't get better than that!

This is the second time I have used the services of Fred Jackson (Nucleus Comp Services). He helped me a year or so ago when my old pc crashed. He diagnosed the problem, recommended that I replace my 7 yr old pc; and made suggestions as to which model was best for me. Fred then helped me get the new pc up and running. I have not had any problems until last week, when my HP scan program caused one of those glitches that you can't get out of. After trying to fix myself (a scary thing to do), I called Fred for help. He was prompt and efficient and professional and I thought the charges were reasonable. I won't hesitate to recommend Fred and Nucleus Computer Services.

"Thank you for your input. We will take your comments into account when trying to improve our services and processes. Please note that we had to take this client's HP laptop completely apart to see what was the issue. This client's laptop was displaying a white screen many times and you could not see anything. If you know HP laptops, you cannot take them apart in a matter of minutes. You have to remove many screws on the bottom and in the case, remove the keyboard, hard drive, memory, wireless card and other items before you can get at the base. The base of this laptop was broken where the hinges of the LCD screen are. Some of the plastic where the hinges attached had been broken completely off. This could happen because of wear and tear or forcing the laptop lid open or close. We communicated to her that the base had been broken. We discussed replacing the base and she decided not to, because of the cost and time. We spent about 5 hours examining and working on this the laptop for this client. We got the laptop working again and displaying properly. We clearly communicated to her that she had to be very delicate with the lid and hinges. The client seemed satisfied with this, since the laptop was not even displaying when we got there and we only charged a minimal amount based on the extensive work we did."
