Michall Daimion Heating & Air Conditioning

I will not be renewing my AC/Heater maintenance contract with this company. I had a detailed conversation about timing for my A/C and heater maintenance appointments when signing up in early Jan22. I was directed to request both A/C and the heater to be checked again in the early fall to avoid continually having to schedule my heater maintenance so late in the season. When following up on scheduling as directed they are now asking me for additional $139 beyond what I paid for in the contract. The only reason I made this request was because they had suggested it in the first place (and it made sense). In addition, after heater maintenance was completed I wasn't given a report or anything regarding what service was actually performed. In the past with other companies I have been told what was checked, if a thermocouple was replaced etc. Two technicians entered my home without masks in the middle of the Omicron peak (I was 7mo pregnant at the time and wearing a mask) - I would have appreciated the gesture or at least if they had asked my preference. Based on my experiences so far, this is not a customer-focused business - they just want your money.

This was the most amazing experience that it would take a full blown essay to tell all of the wonderful pieces of this experience. This company is definitely a great service and a great price. The sales rep, Marty, performed the most comprehensive evaluation of what the house needed to keep us comfortable - checked the attic insulation, number and type of windows, everything and then generated an informative colorful report full of graphs and usage. He explained everything in detail and gave several options. Once I gave them the go ahead, the complete job was done in 1/2 a day, less than a week later. Everyone was punctual, responsive, and neat. This company has renewed my faith in contractors. Well worth a call if you are looking for new or replacement heating or air conditioning.

They come when you need them and they do excellent work. They even came Christmas Eve and I would highly recommend them.

I could not be more pleased with this company. They are quick to respond, send out polite, competent, helpful people who are as ethical as the company itself. I have used them before and they never "find something wrong" on their service calls. This is something I and I am sure everyone else has experienced.

All went well. we got Michall Daimion info from Bryants website as one of there preferred installers. This was very important to me, since we were having a high end system installed. The team came in, removed my old system, installed and the new system and walked me threw all the bells of whistles of the system. They were very clean and professional. 

I want to share my recent experience with Michall Daimion HVAC. Toward the end of June, I found standing water at the basement floor near where water heater and AC unit stand. I thought it might be the AC unit as a brand new water heater was replaced by Sear's at the end of April. So I called Michall Daimion and the 1st technician Chris came over on 6/26 (Thursday). It was diagnosed as frozen refrigerant is cauing the issue, and suggested us to replace the air filter we are using now. We followed the first technician's suggestion and replaced the air filter at the same day. I wiped the floor with dry towels as we have a finished basement.
Next Morning (Firday 7/27), I went down and still saw standing water. My initial thought was that it might due to the remaining frozen refrigerant. So I gave it another day to see what happended. On 7/28 Saturday morning, still water. So I gave the office an call but nobody answered. Guess may be it is weekends.
I waited till Monday morning 6/30, and called the office as soon as it opens. The receptionist told me that she will get some technician come over to take a look that day. I waited until 3:30pm and nobody called back. So I called back and said I'd appreciate if I was told nobody would be here at that day. I would have gone to work instead of waiting at home. The receptionist apologized and scheduled me for the next morning.
Then 7/1 morning, the second technician Dan came over and did the examination. I was with Dan for almost 2 hrs. At the end, Dan suggested it might due to cnosendation pump. I was doubted (given my experience at the 1st time) and asked how likely it is due to consendation pump given the age of the unit (originally installed on 2007 by previous owner by the same company). Dan didn't answer me that question directly and said if replacing a pump doesn't resolve the issue, I won't be charged for that. I agreed, and had Dan replaced the pump. 
Next morning (7/2), still staning water. So I called back to the office, explained what happened. The lady said "ok, thanks for letting us know". We hanged up. Then I thought  I should have this confirmed by the office as Dan told me I won't be charged for the pump if that is not the cause. So I called back again, and asked the lady to send someone to come take a look. The lady said "ok, we know it". And nobody was sent out to take another look either. I thought it is over and I won't be charged.
I called another AC company and was told by the second AC company that everything seems to be fine with the AC unit, they suggest to call for water heater repair. I am glad that he brought my attention to the water heater. We examined it carefully to see where could be leaking. and put buckets underneather two places where we thought could be the cause of leaking water And next morning (7/3), one of the buckets had water. Mystery resolved. So I scheduled Sear's home repair for the water heater as the water heater was installed by Sear's.   Then today 7/9, I recevied Daimion's invoice for the consendation pump. That is unexpected. So I called the office and explained everything. I even talked to the manager heather, regardless my empahsis that the consendation pump wouldn't be installed if the second technician didn't tell me that I won't be charged if the issue was not caused by the pump. The manager heather said the invoice remains valid. What should I do now?  
I called simply because this unit was originally installed by this company and their phone number is right on the AC unit. I should have checked Angie's list reviews before calling this company.

This company has a revolvong door og service men. I asked that I have the same guy everytime, should be easy since I'm tremendously flexable on scheduling. - Never had the same guy twice. Also inquired about 3 different issues that required follow up, never once received a a call with pricing or follow up questions or concerns.
This company also installed the initial system in my house, I think they missed a vent in my daughters bathroom and put 3 vents in the adjoining bedroom.

Missed the main cause of the AC problem which was a leaking condensate coil. Lost all of the Freon requiring replacement of the entire AC system.  They quoted me twice the market for a new one.

The steam humidifier was miswired.  It used a 20 amp wire which they hooked up to a 12 amp wire in the furnace.  It burned out and I had to pay $350 to have fixed.

Every time they serviced my systems, a problem developed soon thereafter.  coincidence?

Arrived on time.  Quickly went to work and replaced the broken unit. Put down paper in front of areas where he had to work, and cleaned everything up after. Discussed with me what he had done and explained the bill.  We had discussed the cost ahead of time and they laid out several options for me depending on whether I wanted to replace the existing unit with a similar unit or if I wanted to upgrade to newer technology (replace entire system).  We went with the least expensive option.
Daimion does our annual maintenance as well and they have always been on time and professional.

I have had a service contract with Miachall Damien for many years. They come out twice a year (spring and fall) to service the heater and A/C. They are always on time, professional and reliable. At my last residence they kept my old heating unit running longer than any of us expected. During a blizzard, Michall called me himself with suggestions for keeping the unit clear to prevent loss of heat. These guys are great!
