I recently had the pleasure of working with M&K Renovations for a complete home renovation project at my home in Malvern PA, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. First and foremost, I was impressed by M&K Renovations' impeccable communication throughout the entire process. Everything went well - they powerwashed and painted my front porch decking and railings, the railings leading up to my front porch, replaced the copper postcaps, cleaned gutters, etc. They did several jobs and they were my new go-to guys. To the point where they sent me a nice holiday card with a visa gift card as a thank you for business. Then they just stopped replying to me. It was strange. I don't know if someone got sick or if they just decided to trim their list of regular customers or what. Everything was good before that. Puzzling.

M&K Renovations is a great company to work with. We had 3 projects we were looking to complete, drywall in a back basement, new basement stairs, and creating a passthrough/walkway from our kitchen to the living with a coat closet. M&K came through on all of them! Mike, one of the owners was really easy to work with, answered all our questions at the initial walkthrough and provided a detailed, itemized list of the 3 projects. When the work started there were 2 teams working, making the jobs go much faster than anticipated. Kris, the foreman, stopped by everyday to check in and answer any additional questions we had. In total the work took 5 days and we're so happy with it. We did have one call back item, the threshold on our new pass through from kitchen to living room wasn't quite level. They came back the very next day and adjusted things and secured the piece of wood down. Owning an older house I'm sure we will have more work to be completed in the future and would definitely hire M&K Renovations to do the work.

M & K did a phenomenal job. Turn around time from estimate to completion was quick. We’re able to install and seal up all possible areas of the water leak. Cleaned up everything as well. Would definitely use again!

I contacted M&K Renovations for an estimate to repair damaged wood, power wash, and stain my deck in addition to cutting a doorway and hanging a door on the side of my detached cinder block garage. Michael, the owner, came out a couple of days later, took copious notes on the work to be done, and sent me a fair estimate, which I accepted without hesitation. The work began promptly at 8 am on the agreed upon day and was completed the following day. The crew wasn’t satisfied initially with the coverage of the deck stain, so they arranged for a coworker from another job site to stop by in the late afternoon and apply an additional coat. The final result was a deck that looks nearly brand new and a side entrance to my garage, which I have been wanting for the past 30 years. I was impressed not only with the technical skills of the workmen, but also by how professional, courteous, and respectful they were at all times. The projects turned out great and it was a real pleasure working with them. I will certainly give them a call for any future remodeling jobs.

M&K has been performing work on our property for more than 12 years. They recently completed work to realign the Belgian blocks lining our driveway and sealcoat the driveway. The work was excellent and beautiful -- completed on time and as expected. M&K was also very flexible in adjusting the requirements for the work and responding to some specific requests. M&K is great to work with and they do excellent work. The price was fair. I highly recommend M&K for any house repairs or upgrades.

Worked with us during the Covid 19 pandemic. We were not able to see samples at a showroom so Mike provided us with samples of various roofing and decking products. Once restrictions were lifted a crew of ten finished off the roofing replacement in one day. We have received many compliments from neighbors on how good it looks. Replacing the wood decking with a composite surface and metal railings took several days. The crews showed up on time and were pleasant to work with. Finished job looked great. Had a couple minor concerns after the project was completed. They came back immediately and made sure I was a 100% satisfied before they left. I will use them again for other home renovations.

Fantastic! M&K was contracted to replace a basement window but there was a lot of moving parts associated with the job. I needed to remove the old window, get a new washer and dryer delivered through the window (because the basement staircase wasn't wide enough), and then install the new window. Ken from M&K worked with me to arrive early in the day before delivery and then come back to install after delivery. However, the delivery guys wouldn't deliver to the basement through the window, nor remove the old appliances. I understand why (not company policy) but it was unexpected and left me in a bad situation. Called up Ken to let him know what happened and he refused any solution that didn't involve him helping me move the appliances. He came over and 20 minutes later we had everything moved. 45 minutes later, the window was installed. Ken also comforted my 14-month old who was screaming because dad was in the basement. It's this kind of stuff that makes you stick with a contractor. I've used M&K for a few different projects in the past (window replacement, basement finishing, kitchen remodeling) totaling ~$20k but this is the first review I've written and it's for a $600 project. It would be hard to go elsewhere. Also, window looks great, seal is perfect. No more draft.

M&K does outstanding work at a very reasonable price. But what makes them really special is their problem-solving skills. An old house like the one we just moved into just does have challenges--and M&K (special call-outs to Marc, Chris and Hugo!!) figured out how to make things look great with little or no added cost. We originally hired them to install a master bathroom where a closet/dressing room used to be, but on the day they started, a sewer backup totally stopped everything. They responded so perfectly: got in a plumber who fixed it at a good price, worked with insurance and us and we ended up with a great finished product both upstairs and down. Highly recommend, but note: communication is not their strong suit. If you have a question, ASK! The answers are good, but you have to ask.

Things stared out a little rocky. The communication was not great, however, once they began working they did an excellent job. They were only scheduled to fix one window well but they ended up doing all three of the window wells at no additional cost. They recognized some early issues and made up for it at the end.

Went great, as always. We’ve been using M&K for over five years now and they are always consistent. We will continue to use them and will always recommend them. They were able to fit me in within a week because I had a hard deadline. Both men that came were very courteous and on time. They cleaned up before they left and even provided me with some ideas with other things. M&K never disappoints.

We hired M&K Renovations to do a complete remodel of our out dated bathroom. The works was done in about two weeks which we really appreciated since we were down to one bathroom while the work was in progress. The crew came in each day promptly and cleaned up each day. There was excellent communication between us and the supervisor and the back office procurement person to ensure everything went smoothly. When we needed a change in the plan, Chris was able to make it happen without any noticeable impact. The workmanship was very good and the final product looks so awesome. We would definitely consider hiring M&K Renovations for future work.

Wow! I am so happy. The pros at M&K are terrific. When I called, out of the blue, as they didn't know me, they scheduled an appointment in two days for someone to come and give me an estimate. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but the estimator was able to give me some options and suggestions. When I called again to set up an appointment, there was a cancellation and they were able to do the work the next day! I had new overhead lights, and under cabinet lights, all on dimmers. The installers walked me through the types of lighting, and the characteristics of the lights I chose. They arrived on time, were very pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves. They were even nice to the dog!

The M&K team did an excellent job on a number of projects at our home. Their team is very skilled and professional in their work and excel in roofing, painting and general home handyman jobs. They approach the work as if it is for their own home. Will definitely call them again.

We recently bought a home with stucco on one side. The stucco had failed (along with other sealing issues), which resulted in a bit of water damage to one bedroom and the garage. We hired M&K Renovations after getting several bids, and found M&K's pricing to not only be fair, but their work was more comprehensive (a lot of other companies could only do partial work). From getting the estimate to the project completion, they were very professional, on-time, and did a great job. The project managers on site took the time each day to explain to us what was going on that day, which we greatly appreciated. The project finished in the given time frame and looks great. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

Everything went well. They were professional and courteous, and did a nice job with the repairs. We had a variety of small repairs that needed to be done, and they answered all of our questions thoroughly. Would certainly hire again.

The bathroom turned out beautiful. The people in charge, Mike and Chris were always available via phone and followed up on all issues.

Overall they did an excellent job focused on making sure we were happy with the end product and work. Michael, Chris, Hugo, Mike, and their other team members were extremely positive, respectful, and patient with us. My wife and I had high expectations, and they were very responsive in a positive way to our requests, addressing significant hidden challenges along the way with minimal extension of time/cost. For example, the toilet needed moved and when they opened the floor, we found the cast iron sewer pipe “T” was cracked and had to be replaced. The plumber and Michael quickly quoted the extra work to replace it and went ahead with our approval...quite a massive job but done quickly at a fantastic price. At the end of the job, my wife noticed the toilet wasn’t level (it was off about 3/16 the of an inch). Chris’s team went to adjust it and found the toilet was cracked near the mounting point. They ordered a new toilet and replaced it at their cost. Their bid for all the work was even the best of the multiple we got. Everything looks great...see pics.

It went extremely well. The quality of work is excellent. The contractor M&E Renovations (Ian) is very responsive and receptive to our input and was always very courteous in his attitude. Good experiences in coordination with him in selecting the materials and appliances. Overall, we are very satisfied with his work. We are very happy with the final product of their work. We recently hired M&K Renovations and worked closely with Ian and his team to remodel our kitchen and I would strongly recommend M&K Renovations! This was our first time doing a kitchen project and Ian took his time with walking us through the process from start to finish to ensure that we got the kitchen that we wanted while staying within our budget. It went very well considering it was a complication situation. M&K saved us money and time by rebuilding the mold/water damaged kitchen cabinets. Our kitchen looks just like it did before the work and that is exactly what we wanted.
