Joe was the consummate professional. He did the entire job himself and was extremely thorough, going well beyond the necessary minimum for the entire installation, explaining everything in whatever level of detail we requested. Anybody who, unfortunately, has to install a new septic system would be making a big mistake not to at least talk to Joe.

Joe was very professional and thorough. He inspected our system and informed us what was needed, as well as giving an estimate at the time of the initial visit. He then returned as scheduled to repair the access points and leech field caps that we had damaged with the lawnmower. Although he does not perform pumping of the system, he contracted out to another company that came with him to perform that service.

I have no expertise in septic, but Joe was very willing to explain to us what he had done and his conclusions and he seemed reasonable and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that we got to the site exactly on time but were presented with the results of an already completed inspection; we did not get to see the inspection being done as expected.

i contacted the company via phone/email for an estimate. since joe had another estimate in the area he stopped by very early in the morning (since the job was outside) to do his estimate - that's what i call proactive! i needed to get the job done as soon as possible since we were moving. joe did the job the next week and charged us less than the estimate! we like the look of the new manhole extension and how it was installed - very professional looking and blends in with the surrounding grass. joe followed up with an email explaining everything since we weren't home at the time they performed the work. he is very mannerly, responsive, accommodating and has great respect for angie's list.

Very well for such a task. Prompt, courteous and efficient. A bit more expensive than other firms, but worth the extra cost with extra professionalism.

From first phone contact to completion of service, everything was first rate.

Joe is fantastic! He returned my initial call within 10 minutes, and promptly set up an appointment. He showed up early for our appointment, and did a very good job of finding all of the existing seepage beds (both working and non-working). He is a true professional! He took the time to teach me how the systems worked, and what would need to be done to update/repair them. He created a full report of his findings, and promptly sent me a copy. I would highly recommend Great Valley Septic Services. We plan to use them again in the future as well!

This firm installed a new septic tank and valve on our property for on-lot sewage 3 years ago. Joe was very informative and professional and explained why the prior repair suggestions by another contractor would be ineffective and illegal. Would definitely use again.
