I hired Certitude in April 2020 based on positive references from neighbors and they did not disappoint. Very helpful in answering all my questions and making sure I was comfortable to proceed. I had them replace my full roof, which was leaking into the bathroom and was also nearly 25 years old. I anticipated replacing the entire roof within 2-3 years, anyway, so wanted to get this work done at once, instead of just fixing the leak and then having to replace the entire roof less than 3 years thereafter. Met with Scott Henderson (sales) who was thorough, informative and addressed all questions not only at the time of meeting but in the days afterward. I was not pressured into contracting them but chose them after getting estimates from a total of 6 roofers. They were not the cheapest, but were also not the most expensive. I felt that I got a good price for the service (product and installation labor), including an excellent warranty on both product and their labor. They also cleaned my gutters while they were there at no extra charge. There was a PM onsite for much of the installation, checking on progress and the safety of the workers. There were 4-6 people working on my roof for the entire day and they finished everything within a day (I live in a medium-sized townhouse). After they left my yard - front and back - looked as if they had not been there - absolutely no debris remained afterwards and there was not a single nail anywhere to be found. I'm writing this review a full year and a half after the work was completed. I'm more than satisfied with their service and would have them do work here again. I definitely recommend Certitude.

We had a mix up because I thought the trim work was to be done on all three buildings that were being re-roofed. For some reason Ed wrote up the contract only included the trim on 2 of the 3. Fair enough, but I hired them on the basis of everything being done on all of the buildings. I told Ed I was not looking for him to do this for nothing but I need the the trim work completed on the buildings. He assured me he would write up the proposal. This was in the early fall . Still no word on this.

I gave a less than perfect because of a few of the following items. The day of the installation, it went well. The guys worked hard and finished in one day. Communication on that day was really great with the PM. He was very upfront on what was going to be extra and showed me why. The shed shingles were not installed with a drip edge so they did come back to fix that and ensure roof fan was secure. Thank you. There was a slight misunderstanding with the checks I paid. The gentleman who came to repair the shed mentioned they didn’t get a check from us. We had all the check numbers and determined we did. He was very professional about it. Also I was told by the PM the day of the install that I would get a refund if I had someone else get a roof done by them. My friend from work did give their estimator my name at the time of estimate. The estimator asked him how he heard about Certitude. I followed up on this numerous times with the gentleman that repaired shed and in emails to the secretary. I sent an image of a text that showed that my friend gave my name. Still no responses for the $200.00 refund or to confirm that they indeed do have my checks. It has been almost two months. However, so far the roof is doing well, and the guys were all friendly and respectful.

Certitude is the right company to hire for all exterior work on your home.  Even though it was a busy time of year, I needed a small repair, and I was a new customer, Certitude got an employee to my house within 24 hours of my call  (the leak was on the exterior of the home and it was not expected to rain, so not an emergency).  Ryan was on time and quickly identified what the issue was and how it could be repaired.  I was given different options of how the roof could be repaired, and Ryan also provided guidance on what he thought the best course of action was.  I would highly recommend him and his company.

They did a very good job. The crew was very hardworking. In fact there was some space left in the dumpster and I asked them if I could use it to clear out some junk around my house and they said, no problem. I also had a problem a very heavy piece and they helped me. They went above and beyond.

The work was scheduled for early March but due to the weather conditions it was moved a couple of times. All the work that we agreed on was completed by the provider. My main concern was I was not happy with the cleanup his crew didn't do. When I arrived home that night I wasn't out of the car two steps when I found two large nails in the driveway that could have easily flatten my car tire. Further investigation through the front yard, I found a lot of grit and dirt along the walkway leading to the front door along with four more nails. It looks like they bought the old roofing down in the front of the house. In addition, walking down the steps off the deck in the back of the house I found the nail on one of the steps. All this should have been easily spotted if the crew did a walk around before leaving the premises. My long-term concern is if there's more nails in the yard, could someone step on one in their bare feet now that the summer months are coming or could one end up in the driveway and flatten one of my car tires. I sent this response back to the provider and he has not replied back to me.

It was good.  He did the job pretty well.  They were very honest about what was going on.  They were punctual, on time.  My interaction with them was good.  They pretty much understood what my issues were and they fixed it.  The patch of water that was coming from the roof started drying out.  I am pretty happy about them.  The quality of work was good.  I didn’t spend anything more than the Big Deal.  I called them and they replied back within a week.  The price was pretty high.

1) My wife and I were hoping that we could get an appointment before Christmas and the next rain that was expected - Done!
2) Punctuality - the owner came right on time.  
3) Work done - he reviewed the entire roof.  Found some areas that needed patching and the culprit for the leak we were getting upstairs.  He provided us an honest assessment that the roof should be fine for the next several years (at least 10 I believe he said) and did not try to find other things to charge us for.  He was very knowledgeable, explained everything well, and took pictures of all the spots pre- and post- fixing.
When I need something done on my roof again, there's only one person I would call - Ryan Dean at Certitude.

I was informed of a few issues and the roofer took care of a broken shingle we had.  After he left (like a couple of days later) I called back because I noticed (after we had our bedroom ceiling painted) that there must have been a prior leak in one spot.  I asked if they could double check that area to make sure they had taken care of any issues.  I was told that they had done a complete roof inspection and that if I wanted them to come back, it would be extra money.

Awesome. Ryan was polite and professional. Even went over and above the service and cleaned my gutters.

the provider first came to check the condition of the roof and listed some issues he found out; since it was getting dark he came back the following week to fix some problems.  overall, I'm satisfied with his service and would like to use again in the future.

We are seling our place and the home inspector found some roofing and siding issues that the buyer wanted fixed. I wanted to get a second opinion from a professional and that's where I contacted Certitude. I want to thank Ryan for his professional opinion on the siding of our townhome and fixing the shingles on our roof. All I can say is he is very professional, prompt, reliable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend his expertise.

Scheduling with the provider was easy. They called me to schedule and sent me an email after they left me a voicemail. Ryan Dean, the owner, was available to perform the service two days the week the service was purchased. He arrived on time and presented his business card when I opened the front door. He asked if there were any water issues inside the home. He reviewed the areas and then went up to the roof to inspect. He came down and showed me pictures of areas he felt were creating issues. He replaced two collars, step flashing, multiple nail pops and caulking along some other shingles. All work was completed within an hour. He gave me an estimate of many years are left on the roof and the next time I should have the roof serviced. Ryan offered some additional advice to consider when I replace the roof in the future. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely use him again.

Workers were professional and worked very quickly!  We love the new roof.  The owner came out to my house at the end of the job to walk around my house to make sure I was happy with every detail.  Good company, would use them again.
