General Remodeling
Hurricane Sandy totally destroyed one aluminum awning and damaged
another on the front of our home. I contacted Phil-Allen for an
estimate, and Kim came out the same day, examined and measured, and
provided an estimate which was quite fair. We contracted for the job,
paid a down payment, and Kim ordered the awnings, having given us a fair
time estimate. Toward the end of that period, she called us, explaining
that her supplier could not meet the obligation, due to equipment
problems. She had, however, taken the step of contracting another
supplier and determining that he could provide virtually identical
awnings in just a short time. Kim said that they were a bit more
expensive, but that her company would absorb the extra cost. As we
agreed, the awning materials were delivered to our home, and five days
later (including a miserable, rainy weekend) her team showed up (at 8
AM) and erected the awnings. They were great to work with, and did a
wonderful job. I would not hesitate in the slightest to use them again, and recommend them highly.
