We are exceptionally pleased. When we picked the tile, the salesperson suggested that it be installed without grout. As we shopped at other tile stores, we asked all the other salespeople about installing the tumbled marble without grout. They all told us it could not be done. We went back to the first salesperson who referred us to Erik. He came with a portfolio of his work, which showed his exceptional talent. He showed us samples of backsplashes he installed without grout. While the cost was higher than it would have been with some others, our backsplash is a work of art and the focal piece of our kitchen. This is exactly what we hoped for. Two years later we have not had any of the dire problems the other tile people told us we would if we installed without grout.
