I contacted Jerry at GES for a mold inspection on a property that my husband and I were interested in purchasing.  We had a short time frame for the inspection, and I really appreciated that Jerry was willing to come out on short notice, the Friday before a holiday weekend.  Jerry and his partner (a former fireman who was a huge asset to the inspection since there had been a fire at the house), did an incredibly thorough job.  They spent the time necessary to examine the house and answer all of my questions.  They are incredibly knowledgeable and competent professionals.  As it turned out, the house had some significant problems and we decided not to move forward with the purchase.  I am relieved that I called Jerry -- I will never buy a house without calling on his services!

Great!  Jerry and his assistance arrived on time and got right to work. Took great care to not disturb bushes and flowers around the house.  Did not stop until job was entirely done.  Also want to note that both gentlemen were very nice and courteous and answered all questions and concerns we had.  They really know what they are doing.  This is the third time that GES has power washed my home.  I have it done every other year and wouldn't even think of having anyone else do this service.  Thanks again, Jerry.  Great job!

GES Property Pros LLC had cleaned our house and solar panels in the summer of 2012, and they did such an outstanding job at that time, we did not hesitate to call them to wash the house again. This time, we also asked them for estimates to wash our gazebo and remove the stains from the shingles on the shady side of the house. (We have cleaned the gazebo ourselves in prior years, and it was quite a tedious job.)

The company kept us informed when weather conditions made it necessary to reschedule our job. They called us the day before the work was done to confirm the appointment. They arrived on schedule and began work. It took approximately 4 hours to complete everything.

When they finished, everything they had cleaned looked brand new! They do NOT use high water pressure, so there is no risk of damage caused by excessively high pressure. The cleaners they use are not harmful to pets or plants, and they nonetheless rinsed nearby shrubs with water after cleaning the siding. The gray and black streaks that had marked our white rain gutters were gone. The cleaning made the biggest difference on the shady side of the house -- the green stains on the siding and deck were gone, as were the black areas on the roof shingles. The roof, in particular, looked new. The gazebo also looked new -- the composite decking, the vinyl railings, and the wood interior were all spotlessly clean.

It is hard to put a price on this review because we keep calling these guys back for this or that and their general handyman services are ongoing through all our big projects.  We live in an older ranch house (built in 1977) that is not necessarily falling apart, but it certainly has had to have some "work done" in the last few years.  All of our big projects have been previously reviewed:

Each project these guys do could easily fall into every category because they do almost every aspect themselves.  Sometimes, the behind the scenes work the moldings, moving header beams, siding, framing walls, fixing sagging overhead beams, etc., tend to get forgotten in the big picture.  It shouldn't be, but we just can't cover them all.  We suggest you look at our other reviews, but if you don't have time for that, then know that whenever you need something done, GES PROPERTY PROS will do the best job for you at the best price.  You probably won't know when you start your project how much better off you will be for knowing these guys, but once you let them do that first job for you, there will never be a need to look anywhere else for your home projects.

We've had several projects in which GES has updated and/or added to our electrical system.

When our finished basement flooded in 2013, they not only did the necessary repairs to satisfy our insurance requirements, but they also brought the electrical for the 1977 house up to 2013 code and increased the capacity of our electrical panels.  They upgraded the space further with recessed lighting and the addition of a wall that would eventually house a large-screen TV, preparing it with all the electrical and cable connections that would be necessary.  We changed out some old baseboard heating with upgraded small wall units that run from the new thermostat they installed.  They worked with us to add level-to-level fans that circulate the warm air from our pellet stove to the upstairs of our ranch home.   After this they tackled some smaller jobs such as outdoor receptacles and dryer venting.   

Not only do they do everything we asked, they also assisted with preparing the electrical system for other renovations for the upstairs we were planning in the future.  They made sure we would be ready to add central air when the time comes and not have to open up our ceiling in the basement to run any additional wiring.  These are things we didn't even think about, but they did. 

We found their experience invaluable as we uncovered more things in our older home that we wanted to or needed to fix.  Our list is long, but we can always discuss priorities with them and how best to tackle each item on a timeline that makes sense for us.

We're currently in the midst of renovating a screened in porch to a full sunny addition to the back of our home.  Wiring has been added accordingly and we will be installing recessed lighting within the next couple of weeks.  GES helps us with planning, pricing, and they always make sure everything is done right.

Every time they finish an electrical project in our house, we immediately feel safer! 

Our second project with GES was the complete overhaul of our screened back porch to a full room addition.  The room was modified with walls, replacement windows, new door and storm door, new siding, drywall, ceiling, tile, and removal of the old sliding-glass door to be replaced by a larger opening to our kitchen (which included moving a header beam). 

At this time, we also began a bathroom remodel at the same time as the back wall of the bathroom was accessible and enabled us to totally replace our existing tub with a complete tub/shower unit. GES does all the work or subcontracts it.  All the work was performed in a very organized and timely manner. They are extremely thorough, and will always quote everything out for you so you know exactly what you?re facing.  What we also like is that they do all the projects according to our timelines.  We could do a little at a time and this helped us to make final decisions on the space based on living in it for awhile, plus it helped us plan out the financial side of this too.  This project is currently on-going.

These guys were/are wonderful!  They were recommended to us by our neighbors when we had a main water line break in our finished basement.  They came in and gave us quotes to repair everything up to 2013 code, dealt with our insurance company, accomplished the necessary repairs in a very timely manner, and then further worked with us on additional renovations as their prices were so reasonable and work was so excellent we went forward with a full upgrade of the space. 

We ended up with the basement of our dreams and these guys on speed-dial!  They not only helped us on this project, they also highlighted all the things we?d need to do now to prepare our plumbing and electrical systems for future renovations planned for our main level.  You?ll see many more reviews from us in other sections, because we have found our "go-to" guys for everything involving home improvement, renovation and repair:  GES PROPERTY PROS!
