Contractor provided written description of job scope, but then did less than written. When customer asked for price reduction for difference between work contracted/expected and work performed, contractor made excuses and threatened to walk away. Contractor eventually calmed down and continued work, but probably should have let him fired him immediately for the unprofessional behavior.
Quality was good, though painting lacked attention to detail in multiple areas and required customer to point out.
Work took ~1/3 longer than planned - this is because overall it seemed like the contractor's team was over-extended due to another very large job.

Tom was very professional and very flexible with his rate.  He did the foundation, framing, roof, windows, wiring, electric upgrade, etc...  we did the insulation, dry wall, mudding, and painting ourselves to help save on cost...  We would highly recommend Tom.  His men were kind and polite.  They worked usually from about 9am to 4pm.  Tom communicated very well.  His quote was fast and the bulk of the building was only about 6 weeks.  We slowed things down by doing inside work ourselves.  Of course there was the mess of our yard which was a shock to us - but we have never taken on a project like this before and found out it is to be expected.  We would recommend Tom.
