I think they did a very good job, but there is still a dark ring along one of the sinks whenever it gets wet. I am not sure if it is the counter-top material or the sink itself that is the problem. They did a very good job with the kitchen counter-tops because they did get rid of a lot of the nicks, so in that regard I am pleased. If you could contact me about the ring in the sink, that would be wonderful!

The initial process leading up the purchase went well. The young woman on site was knowledgeable about the product line and she spent considerable time with us. We felt good about the experience. The pricing was the best we could find for this type of product. The first house visit was the measure and layout and that went very well. The worker was punctual and professional. The day of installation was punctual and we were basically satisfied with the installation. A follow up adjustment was taken care of in two weeks.
An additional follow up was requested as we weren't certain the stone had been sealed appropriately. This experience was not good. TWO different times the scheduled time was missed and I missed time at work because of it. I was NOT happy. They were apologetic, etc., but again this happened twice. Ultimately, the stone was resealed and my questions about care of the stone were satisfactorily answered.
Some thoughts.
Better attention on the installation to things like care of stone, etc. would save them and consumer headaches and time. At a minimum, a fact sheet that addresses common questions about care and maintenance of granite would be very easy to provide. The experience with the follow up left a negative impression however, we are very satisfied with the counter-tops.
The company would do themselves a big favor if they were intentional about continuous process improvement when it comes to business basics of communication and follow-up. These basics are not well attended to an the outcome is unfortunately consumer frustration.
I and quot;thinkand quot; I would recommend them for granite counter tops, but, it would come with the caution that things be very clearly spelled out ahead of time and that the consumer list the specific questions they have. Also, I would be very clear that you want to have reminder call minimally one or two days prior to a scheduled visit.

I sent an email to all the local companies around York that did granite. I knew what type of granite I wanted, I was just looking for the best deal and I they gave the best deal. They were very professional. I only had to go there one time to pick out the slab that I like. They came, not even a week later with it already cut and prepared. They brought it to my house and installed it. The installation guys were really nice. They ended up bringing it and it had an issue and two of the pieces were cut incorrectly so the one piece did not match the other piece. It was a small piece. As soon as the installer noticed it, he said they were not going to put this is my kitchen. He called his manager and they went back and had to get it cut again. It took three more days. He had the same slab that they cut mine from so it matched great. There was another issue when he was installing it. He noticed that the end that I ordered was the wrong end that it was cut and he said that he would call the owner and he can figure out what they could do. The owner talked to me and was extremely apologetic. He told me that he would either give me a discount for the one that I had downstairs or he would re-cut all of them to make it to my liking. I was really pleased with that. They cut the other piece that was messed up, brought it in and installed it. Everything is working great. It is doing perfect and I've recommended them to a bunch of other people already. The owner came out and measured before the guys came out and installed it. It was a wonderful experience. He was really nice.

They came in. It took couple of days. They ripped up my kitchen and took out my old counter top. I have a unique setup where the kitchen table is a part of my countertop too. They took that apart and replaced my countertop with the granite. They did a really good job.

A couple people where I work highly recommended them to me. I live in York, and even though they are in Lititz, Pa. they do work all over a wide area. All employes were very helpful and pleasant. Work was punctual and professional on all levels. We stopped on in to their shop and looked at the inventory of stones. They have lots to choose from sitting outside. The owner, Raphael came out to our house and give us an estimate. We agreed to the estimate and put 50% down. Meanwhile we stopped back to the store to pick our exact stone. He came to the house in about a week to make a template. Then about a week later a trio of hard workers spent about 2.5 hours removing and installing. They were efficient and courteous. But I warn you, prepare to pay about HALF of what you would at Home Depot or Lowes. On top of that we also got a FREE sink, which I priced at Amazon.com at around $440. I highly recommend just stopping in for a look, you won't be sorry. I would post some pictures, but the rest of my kitchen is under construction!

As described above the entire experience was beyond my expectations. Each person we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Andrew and Mikey gave us information about how to care for our new granite countertops and undermount sink. They also explained if we ever had a problem to call and they (or someone else from Classic Granite) would come out to help solve it. A great experience from start to finish.
