Last fall My toy poodle, Inkybear, had started acting very strange. i am a nurse retired after 35 years experience with cardiac patients and one night I thought she was dying. We were new to the area and had been to Pleasant Valley before with just vaccinations and a sick cat but this was different. I called and got Inky in right away.
Dr. Weirner asked what was going on while he was examining Inky. He seemed to know EXACTLY what the propels was before I was through telling him. Blood work was done with a rush placed on it.
I was so afraid Inkybear wouldn't make it though the night. The staff and Dr. Weirner was so caring and truly devoted to Inky. Dr Weirner even gave me his email address so I could text and reach him any time needed. Not to mention the staff even called checking on her condition.
She was started on a medication regime which she will have to take for the rest of her life but with the help of Pleasant Valley staff and Dr. Weirner my 13 year old toy poodle will live happily and comfortably for at least 5 or more years.

My pets and I are always treated with the utmost of care, whether it is an emergency visit or a routine scheduled visit. I highly recommend Dr. Braunstein. I know we are in the best care when we come to his office. I remember when he came to the office on Thanksgiving morning just to care for one of our puppies from a litter. Another time, our dog was hit by a car, and he worked on her into the early morning hours. He definitely gives his all - all the time.
