Representative (Bob) came a week before to give an estimate of cost. I showed him every area that needed to be done. I even pointed out concerns I had about certain areas (small crawl space above our bedroom). We agreed on a price and date for the job to be done. The day they came, I pointed out the crawl space to the guys doing the job (not Bob) and he called Bob and he came back to the house and said they remeasured the space and it would be another $1500 dollars. He claimed he never saw the space even though I pointed it out three times with a flashlight. Either he didn't do his job in assessing the attic, or he was trying to pad the payment. So he "cut me a deal" and said he would do it for $1000 extra. I should have had them all go home at this point but I went ahead with it. I have regretted it since. They left the attic a mess and there is no real difference in temperature in our house. Not a good value. Also, when we received our bill, it was a crazy contract that no one in their right mind would want to sign. First payment due: March 15th. We received it on April 2nd. When I called to talk to someone about the error, I could never get a hold of anyone.
