I like his honesty, work ethic, pricing, punctuality and workmanship. He is the best person I have ever had and I am in my mid 60s. He is by far the best, ever. I had a home, the home was destroyed and he did the whole house. It was outstanding work.

Everything went very well. Nate and Bob stayed in contact with us throughout the whole project and kept us well informed about the work, their sub contractors and any issues with schedule. They were always very professional and helpful. Nate even spent an extra 6 hours putting up a European chadelier in the new bedroom; getting it attached to the ceiling was a major project and Nate did a beautiful job.

We were very pleased with the work. Nate and his partner Bob came to our house on a Sunday because we live downtown and parking is very difficult on weekdays. We tore down the old drop ceiling the day before. They installed new grid (using new anchors) and the ceiling tiles in a 14 by 16 room in one day except for the area with a new light fixture. The next day, they hung the light fixture, added a deadbolt keyless entry unit to an exterior door, and hung two exterior street lights. THis wasn't pre-planned, but they agreed to do these little jobs while they were there.
The next project was a bathroom remodel. My bath/shower was chronically slowed draining since I purchased the house. In order to fix that, the subfloor needed to be removed and the drain pipes completely redone. Their subcontracted plumber installed a more modern trap and used wider pipes. Drains beautifully now. Nate, Bob, the plumber, and one of their workers, Woody, worked to remove the vanity, remove the subfloor, redo the drain pipes, replace the subfloor with new flooring because the old subfloor used different sized plywood and wasn't even, installed the shower, tiled the floor with marble tile and did the drywall work, which was needed because the new bath/shower was wider than the older unit. Woody did both the floor and the drywall. Having someone who specialized in both flooring and drywall was more efficient because he could work on the drywall and then let it dry while working on the floor. WIth separate people, each would have been there for a half day at a time. After the floor, the reinstalled the vanity, installed a new toilet, and hooked everything up. The entire crew was very accomodative and gave us time to paint the walls and the new baseboards prior to installing the baseboards. Finally, they installed a new light fixture. Nate supervised the job well and was very involved in planning and execution.
The final portion was to replace a drop ceiling in another room. This was done on a Saturday to avoid parking issues. The total cost was $5401, although I did purchase the toilet, drop ceiling supplies, and tile flooring on my own after they told me how much to buy. I preferred to do this because of a discount I got at Lowes.

Nate has an outstanding reputation throughout our entire neighborhood. He is currently 1/2 done a massive remodeling project. He has worked great with our insurance co which has not been easy. They are more interested in saving cost then to pay what policy covers and Nate has fought hard for us.
He even completed the cleanup work, removal of parts of damaged floors and appliance cleanup that the service restoration company did not complete and yet billed for.
I will write a detailed update when the work is completed.
But do not hesitate to contact N. Yinger if you need and construction or general contractor work

Basement demo and remodel... Nate and Bob did a good job. They were on time and accountable. The sub contractors they used were pleasant to deal with. I added some extras after the initial estimate and they finished the job within budget. We would hire them again.

Still absolutely the best contractor I've ever worked with (and there have been many).

The building was old and uninhabitable when I purchased it and after having bad to really bad experiences with 3 other contractors, I was referred to Nate by an acquaintance. I noticed the difference immediately. Nate was honest, great at communicating the pros and cons of decisions, making recommendations, and flexiibilty. It is unusual to be able to trust a contractor, especially after getting burned a few times, but after a few jobs done by Nate, I was able to trust him to the point of working on a time and materials basis for jobs that were unpredictable (renovating an older building where you can't always determine what you will get into before the job is started). One other thing that is unusual is that for jobs that are bid, Nate and Bob will only charge for the actual job cost plus profit percentage, which is sometimes well under the estimate. I have referred Nate and Bob to family and friends and all have had great experiences.

Nathan was very professional, friendly and accomodating. Since this was a long distance job, it required excellent communication between the two of us. Nathan worked with me by phone and email and kept me completely updated as the job progressed. He also used excellent judgement in making decisions along the way about changes or updates that were unanticipated and we had not specifically discussed. For example, previously there were no recessed lights in the ceiling of the breezeway and not good lighting over the doors. Nathan determined that there needed to be more light there and the cost was low so he moved ahead and installed them without having to consult with me. I appreciated that level of decision-making.

He kept the work progressing at an excellent pace, consulted me as necessary, I made one site visit about mid-way through the job, we discussed the progress and a few additions/changes and trusted him to complete the job as we discussed. He also sent photos by email along the way. The result was described by both my brother who did the final site visit and a realtor who had rented the house for me previously as and quot;amazingand quot;, and quot;gorgeousand quot;, and more.
Nathan is completely trustworthy and does outstanding work. He also completed the project within the time we had agreed upon. I would hire him again without reservation to do any future construction project.

Right from the beginning Nate and his guys provided an estimate (which they stayed exactly to), were professional, provided the work in timely fashion. If you want reliable and professional service, keeps you up to date on the progress and an estimate that they really try hard to stick to; these are your guys. I can't say enough good things about them. Its really hard trying to find someone you can trust when it comes to home repairs but with Yinger Construction you find that.

It went great. The amazing thing about these guys is THEY CLEAN UP THEIR WORKSITE AT THE END OF EVERY DAY! We've worked with numerous contractors who don't do that! They built a nice deck for a fair price. All members of the business were courteous and easy to communicate with. Currently we are thinking of having them back to bid on finishing the basement.

Our finished basement was the victim of flooding from the storms in the summer and fall of 2011. It took us several months to get it waterproofed and most of the debris removed. I called Nate for an estimate of what it would take to refinish it and within a week we had his estimate to us, and about a week later we signed a contract and decided on a start date.Nate and his crew removed all the remaining debris, installed new framing, drywall, “beautiful,” large closets, new ceiling and ceramic tile floor. Our basement was originally finished in the 70’s and Nate and his crew had to update the electrical wiring as well as put in all new outlets and lights. He found some structural issues and corrected them as well. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but as the project progressed he gave us some really nice ideas that we decided to integrate into the finished design Nate, Bob and his entire crew are excellent craftsmen, their work is outstanding. I wish I had some before and after picture to show you just how amazing their work is. When the job was done, they came in on budget and on time. I have seen others say they would recommend this company to anyone… I would recommend this company to everyone. Thanks Nate, you and your crew are magicians. You turn our disaster into a sensation.Terry and Barb

Being a retired homicide sergeant and a psychologist I admit I tend to be skeptical at times of skilled trade work, mechanics etc. Well thanks to N Yinger I will no longer be skeptical as he did an oustanding job on building a deck that also took care of structural defect with steps on exisiting home. Their craftsmenship is excellent as was their service and price. I was referred to them via a neighbor. We live in a community where single homes are all about 40 years old. Nate has worked on numerous homes from my deck to neighbors roofing, replacement windows, finished basements and he has developed an excellent rapport and reputation. I would suggest to anyone. save yourself aggravation from other contractors and go right to N Yinger for peace of mind, Great workmanship at a great price. Thanks Nate.
