Almost as planned. The hall bath was done first. Gutted down to the studs and rebuilt with new bath tub, tile around the tub, new toilet and fixtures. Then the master bath was done, new shower with tiled walls and floor, glass doors, new tile on floor, new vanity and medicine cabinet, new lights, and fixtures. The only glitch was the glass shower enclosure, the glass for one wall came bowed and a new one had to be made and that took an additional two weeks.

All aspects of the job were handled exceptionally well. The quality of the work is great. The job site was cleaned daily. Tarps were used to protect interior surfaces and were removed each day. I was concerned that replacing trim would require patching and re-painting of interior walls. After some very minor touch-ups and painting of the trim, the quality of the finish is better than the original. I would recommend this builder without hesitation and am in the process of getting another project underway with him.

The project went very well,. There were many very hot days but they kept at the outside work until finished.
the carpentry work is flawless.
the estamate was kept and we got everything requested.

Melhorn Builders Inc is very good. I would recommend them to everybody. I understand in the township, he is the one they use. He is very professional. He delivers what he said he would. He is very nice. His prices are really good. I will use him again.

The carpenter showed up on time and finished the job in about four hours. There was additional work needed to chisel out a concrete step to accommodate the new door. It was done at no extra charge. The old door and molding were removed and the area was cleaned up before he left. He did not have the correct caulking to finish the area around the concrete step but did return two days later and finished the caulking. We used Melhorn because our neighbor had used them. We felt that the price was not low. However, we were very pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone wanting to have remodeling or carpentery work done.
