We needed to replace our flooring after water damage from a broken hot water heater on the main floor of our house. Jim and his team removed the damaged hardwood flooring and installed luxury vinyl planking. He also removed the tile from our entryway and leveled it in order to have the vinyl flooring flow seamlessly through the entire downstairs. The project even came in below the original estimate thanks to him reusing existing materials when possible (the underlayment and baseboards which were not damaged). We are very happy with how the project turned out.

Jim showed up and explained everything about the project. The prices were very fair and the work was fantastic. They were very clean and I was overall extremely happy with the finished product of our deck and backyard garden bar build. Will be calling for all future projects!

On schedule,very organized,clean neat working condition.great communication skills , would continue using them for my future projects.

Jim rebuilt the deck floor which was fine. The railings is a mess. Sloppy work. Nails thru posts, spindles put on crooked, cracked spindles from nails. Railing for steps was slapped on

Unfortunately Jimmy had a contract to do my kitchen cabinets last year March 2020 however never completed the job and left me without top cabinets so I had to find someone else to complete his job.Jimmy also miscalculated the measurements of the cabinets and created a little flood since he never capped off some of the pipes that were connected to the old dishwasher. I questioned him about that and he got upset with me and basically called me and left a message that he wasn’t coming back to finish the job which meant that he abandoned his job and his responsibilities and didn’t want to be held accountable for his actions. Fast forward to 2021 the only reason why I’m writing this review is because as I’m selling my house and I’m getting my inspections done , the measurements for the cabinets were so off from the countertop that I had to replace all my kitchen cabinets which was very aggravating and expensive for me. If Jimmy would’ve completed this job correctly to begin with, I wouldn’t have had to deal with returning the old and picking up new cabinets …etc…And also had to hire twice someone to finish up his job.We did have a contract and I opted not to take him to small claims court because simply I didn’t want to deal with him however I need to put it out there that his behavior wasn’t professional and his demeanor was very disrespectful.Also there’s the Covid /pandemic excuse however clearly on his personal pages shows he was still working through the pandemic I also have messages and emails to prove that all this information above is legit..

Originally thought I had a caulking issue around gutters near chimney. Jim (owner) was prompt. He discovered that there was caulking where there shouldn't have been and that there were some issues with the shingles and valley around the chimney that were causing a bit of water to enter an upstairs bedroom. He quoted me a price which I thought was fair and came back on Monday to do the work. Once started, Jim realized that there wasn't as much needed work or material than initially anticipated. He charged me about half of what he originally quoted. Very honest, does quality work at a fair price, and communicates very well, Highly recommend WJC Construction for a wide variety of home repairs.

Everything looks Amazing

Jim, comes out within 2 days to hours of a phone call for home repairs, electrical, plumbing or any home repair. He has done multiple jobs for my home and i have yet to have any problems with all of my upgrades to my home. You won’t be disappointed. From upgrading my bathroom floors and electrical outlets to fixing my roof shingles. Jim does it all!

Jimmy did a great job and he’s reliable, yeah I actually said that a Contractor/Handyman is reliable! What’s more is that his price was a win-win for both of us!

Jim and his team did a tremendous job remodeling my bathroom. From putting a jacuzzi bath tub in, to tiling the floor, to tiling the shower wall with marble tiles (not an easy task). They got the job done quick and they were very reliable and clean.

Jim just redid my basement a couple days ago. He was on time every day and explained he's plan to me very clearly and made sure I was understanding his process for the remodel. He's pricing was fair. His attention to detail was amazing and he really took his time with everything. He made sure everything was done correctly and it looked perfect. Highly recommend and will use this company in the future.

WJC is super professional and honest. I’m very happy with the work that was done to my house. I will definitely use again for all different kinds of home projects!

Jim found Gutter cover needed to be replaced., said he would come back Never came back after several phone calls over two weeks.. Gutter didn't need cleaning. I paid him but he never finished.
