Frank and everyone that worked with him were very personable, but also professional. The project took longer than expected due to a few surprises out of anyone's control (which should always be expected, you never know what's behind the walls unless you were the one that put them up) and also a few add-ons by us, but they took care of everything and never put us on the back burner to move on to other projects. They came out everyday until the job was completed, even on weekends as needed. Frank was also very good about dealing with me and my love of symmetry. In fact, by the end of the job he was fixing things without even asking my opinion because he just knew if it was off even the tiniest bit, it would drive me nuts.

We love our new heater, bathroom and laundry room! The quality of work is excellent and we are very pleased that everything turned out so well. Frank at Quality Family Construction and his subcontractors were all very professional. Frank was at our home everyday to oversee the project. Each day he reviewed with us what work was completed and what we could expect the next day. He encouraged us to ask questions throughout the project and returned our phone calls promptly. He and members of his crew arrived when they said they would, and worked throughout the weekend as needed. We were concerned that we only have one bathroom, but he made sure we had a working toilet and shower every day. The price was comparable to other estimates we received. We needed some additional electrical work completed in the bathroom, otherwise the cost was what was estimated. We love the look of the new bathroom and laundry room, and everything is working great.

The job went very well. Frank and everyone he had working with with him were great. He has a guy for everything etc. (concrete, plumbing, electric). A few add ons I had him repair that weren't in quote that made the price a little higher, but expected as with any project. Example: one wall asbestos removal, build soffit for heat, I also upgraded closet doors to more expensive ones. This is the first time I hired a contractor, I'm glad I joined Angie's list and got lucky with frank and his team, he took the fear out of hiring someone. I felt very comfortable going to work and leaving the house open to them. Also he will ask your opinion on how you want things done, and not just do it himself, he kept in contact with every step. I will absolutely call him again if I have a need to in the future. I have had family and neighbors also ask who did the work. Everyone likes it. If for any reason he's working on another addition and you have to wait a couple weeks or so, it will be worth the wait.

We needed more living space. Quality Family Construction helped us design and then execute a living area that surpassed our expectations! They did a first class job. The team was clean, professional, courteous and timely. Harry and Andy helped guide us with their expertise on some areas of design that helped us save substantially. We have 2 children, and after each day the team cleaned the site and unplugged and wrapped up the cords...safety was a big concern of QFC. Harry and Andy both would help guide in the many decisions, I never felt the was based on a financial gain, it was always a well thought out, experience-based answer. The team Harry and Andy bring were very detail oriented, and pleasant. You know you have hired a great team when you are going to miss the team. We are going to throw them a party, what higher recommendation do you need than that!!

Once again another great job done by Frank and Bob. He understood what I wanted, gave a reasonable estimate and start date. Job was completed on schedule and with no surprises, or compromises. Happy customer here.

This is not the first job Frank Walsh, company owner, has done for us. He made suggetions as to how to get the most use of the space in both closets. This was a small job for him but he took the time and explained the materials needed and the costs. His estimates are always detailed and at a fair price. He arrived when he said he would and finished the job in the two days he promised. The closets are everything we expected and more.

I selected Quality Family Construction from the excellent ratings in Angie's List. I particularly looked for a company in town with a high rating. Upon first meet, Frank was courteous and had plenty of suggestions based on his experience. He supplied a list of references. I contacted a few of them and they all had very positive reports. so we decided to hire him. Work started the Tuesday after Labor Day and the job was completed in 7 working days. For a successful project such as this one, you need to be available nearly all the time to make decisions on how you want things. Also I had gotten items that Frank recommended that I take back and get better quality, such as the shower faucet.

It is my pleasure to recommend Quality Family Construction, Inc. and its owner/chief craftsman, Frank Walsh Jr. to you. Frank is a hands-on owner-craftsman who works closely with his employees and the licensed subcontractors he brings in for electrical, plumbing and other work requiring specialty experience and skills. My wife and I had the advantage of seeing their finished work in a kitchen remodeling and later in-law addition to my brother’s house. The work is beautiful, sound and operates flawlessly. Having seen the work at my brother’s house, I had confidence that Quality Family Construction could take on our kitchen remodel in the tightly sized kitchen in our 38-year-old two-story town home. Everything had to be dismantled and removed and this was accomplished with minimal disruption and dust to the rest of the living areas. Frank provided precise measurements so thatwe could have great functionality as well as beauty in the new kitchen. Customized Thomasville cabinets (along with granite counter-tops and breakfast-bar) were designed through Home Depot on their computerized system, Frank’s job was to make it work in reality and to see that the electrical, plumbing, cabinet and granite work all came together in the correct sequence and to adjust anything not accounted for by the computerized plan. Some adjustments needed to be made and Frank and his staff skillfully made the adjustments to preserve both the functionality and beauty of the kitchen. While not at all a craftsman myself, I come from a family with such skills and am familiar how even a simple upgrade can end up very unsatisfactory if workers lack experience, necessary skills or equipment. Final prices can get out of control. Our project came in right at estimate except for the items that we decided to add (without pressure). The estimate also accounted for all theessential work that needed to be done for an almost 40-year-old home. Quality Family Construction is just that, Frank, himself, and his colleagues do not just get the job done, they assure that the quality, functionality and beauty of the project is accomplished. We had a great outcome, completed on time and with no compromises.
