The overall workmanship was OK, except that the hall bath granite counter top was too short and it resulted in the drain stopped could not be moved. At least they didnt leak. The master shower is now leaking and no one response to multiple calls or emails. They were responsive when asking for money. I was more than fair with their terms. Nation-wide is probably out of business. They sold their exterminating business and have changed their 800 number which was very strange. I am quite disappointed that when someone who gives them a significant amount of business calls to get them to repair a problem they caused, that they don't respond. I also called the person who did the work didn't respond either. If you see them at a home improvement show, make sure you ignore them. This is not a group you want to do business with.

It was overall good but I did have to have them come back out and catch with some stuff.

I have used them for over 20 years and they are good. They are a good pest control service. Originally when I bought the house there were termites and they treated it to get rid of the termites so I could buy the house. They have come back every year for 20 years to inspect. Occasionally they treat for ants and stuff like that. The past year they re-treated for termites again. I did not have termites, but they thought it might need it after 20 years. I have not seen any termites.

I am happy and do it every couple of years.

1. The skylight replacement was done over two days. It rained heavily during the evening after the first day, at which time we found out that the skylights were not weatherproofed. Water was pouring into the house, and we spent an evening trying to soak it up. Door frames and wood flooring warped, and drywall was ruined. Nationwide did a good job replacing the damaged drywall and repairing the doorframe. Eventually, the wood flooring unwarped.
2. The replacement of the wood floors was done reasonably well. There were a few spots where the drywall was damaged during the process, which Nationwide repaired.
3. The painting was of poor quality. Although the painters were very nice, we found many instances of skips, pinholes, unfinished areas, and poor lines between wall and ceiling. There were many paint drops that were either poorly cleaned up or not cleaned up at all. During the removal of paneling, an existing wood floor was damaged and poorly repaired.
When we provided our punch list to Nationwide, they responded that they had never seen a list so long. They further said that they would never be able to satisfy us, and implied that we were being too picky, despite their statement at the outset that they wanted to make us happy. Eventually, we settled for fixing most of the minor issues ourselves, and Nationwide discounted the final price.

The overall experience was exceptional. The owners of the company were incredibly professional and down to earth. They took the time to explain everytjng that needed to be done, some things that I would not have thought of. The workmen themselves were exceptional as well. They took the time to answer all my questions in detail and were extremely professional and friendly. Again, paying attention to the smallest of details. Everyday they were on time and worked very cleanly.
I have had experiences with three other contractors that turned out to be awful both in the workmanship and professionalism in dealing with my concerns. I will say that I did have a lower estimate than theirs but after checking references I felt comfortable with their quality of work. I can say that they took care of things that were never mentioned in the lower estimates that turned out to be essential.
I can honestly say that Nationwide will be my go to contractor for all my remodeling needs in the future.
