It went great - Frank was wonderful to work with, very prompt and professional. And best of all, his repair has worked for us.
I would glad use him in the future and would heartily recommend him!

All work was done on schedule, to the quoted price, and with exceptional workmanship and craftsmanship.

The drainage and grading work has proved to be working perfectly, given the rains since the installation. Frank has a good feel for drainage and level. He graded the former puddling areas away from the garage, channeled 4 downspouts into the drain field or into the retention pond, as appropriate. As offered, some of my perforated pipe was used, as needed.

We agreed that I would purchase the 3 glass block windows, as recommended in an energy audit. When I go past them I smile knowing this was smart money spent and again a quality installation. Customization for the house heater intake and vent pipes is perfect. Grouting around the window, from the outside, required him laying on the ground and reaching into the window well; which is difficult and ackward. But all such grouting is solid and looks well.

Dealing with Frank is like dealing with a high school friend in a small town. Everything is explained and a comfortable level of trust is immediately established.

On another possible installation, Frank voiced concerns and the project was cancelled. I am comfortable with that decision of mine.

Frank and his co-worker repaired an addition that was in terrible shape. Extremely professional and great quality work. Arrived on time, promptly returned all calls. Frank will definitely be my first choice for any future home improvement projects.

It went great! I was able to move out for 8 weeks which was great considering there was no heat for most of the time due to issues with HVAC install (the ONLY thing Frank doesn't do), so the poor guy worked in a freezing cold house. He is extremely professional- from his initial visit, his great ideas to make my kitchen seem bigger and brighter than it actually is, his detailed estimates and professional contract. He tells you exactly what materials he uses so that you can compare his estimates with other contractors. He obtains all permits, is fully licensed and insured, and does everything right the first time. He does everything himself (plumbing/electric/drywall/flooring/roofing/windows/siding/painting/doors) and has one awesome helper. The best part is... HE ONLY WORKS FOR ONE PERSON AT A TIME!!! He won't leave your house after a few hours to finish something for someone else. He was in my house, every day, from 8-5pm. Even the postal workers were remarking what a workhorse he is, as well as my neighbors. He is quiet and thoughtful, but he has a great sense of humor. He takes his time measuring and formulating plans, and he is a PERFECTIONIST!! It is a great quality in a contractor. Anything that he expected me to purchase was accurately explained so that I would get the right thing the first time. He orders slightly more materials that is needed in case of a problem, which really worked out when another contractor accidentally scratched my laminate floor-thank God I had extra to replace it. Frank is currently working on my remaining bathroom, where he is replacing shower tile that was installed by someone with little tile experience. (Because I hired someone else that needed the work, but he obviously was in over his head). It was an expensive mistake that I will not be making again. I have ever confidence that Frank Gilardi will do as beautiful a job with my bathroom as he did with my upstairs bath and my kitchen backsplash. I have referred him to many people, and everyone is as pleased with him as I am. Consider me a lifelong customer of this gentleman, and one of his biggest fans!
