Andrew's Flooring

We could not have hired a better man for the job. Andrew brought our original 1890s pine hardwood back to life in our (Kensington) Philadelphia home. He sanded, sealed and polyurethane our surfaces making them look incredible. He is punctual and works extremely clean despite the nature of the project. He was professional from the estimate all the way through the conclusion of the project. His quote was competitive with all others we acquired. We cannot recommend Andrew's Flooring enough. Clean, fast, professional, punctual & great value.

I hired Andrew to refinish the hardwood floors in three rooms, the upstairs and downstairs hallways and the steps in my home. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. He and his man sweated the details, did a good job of containing the dust and made the floors shine. There were a couple of touch-ups that needed addressing after the floors dried, and Andrew came back to do them with no hesitation. And his price was very competitive versus the other estimates I got. The floors in the other half of my home were done three years ago by someone else, with the understanding he’d complete the job in a couple of years after I finished the piecemeal remodeling of the house. Two years turned into three years, and he didn’t return my calls this spring about coming back to finish the job. Turned out for the best because Andrew clearly did a better job than that other guy.

Started out great--called and made an appt for measuring and a quote. Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, and ended up sending a strong quote. I emailed back saying we'd love to go with him for the job. And unfortunately, never heard from him again. Understand people aren't interested in taking every job. But was really disappointed, and killed a lot of time following up with him, and waiting for a reply that never came.

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and professional from the start. He was very prompt, I contacted him for an estimate and he came that day! He answered all our questions and we had an email of the exact job with price that night. Andrews work was done when he had said it would be done. He took all the precautions, covering vents, etc., and cleaned up everything when he was done. Floors look fabulous and we will be using Andrew again to do the upstairs! Highly recommend!

Andrew is the owner operator. He and his associate did an outstanding job...quickly responded to my initial call, gave us a timely and reasonable estimate for the work to be performed, dealt flexibly with our scheduling challenges, and performed the job on time and on budget. I highly recommend Andrew's flooring.

Andrew was professional, responsive, and prompt throughout the project. The staining and top coating were done well: the final color was exactly what we expected, the stain was applied evenly without blotching, and there was no sags or drips in the poly. The job site was cleaned up at the end of each day, and thoroughly cleaned at the end of the job.
