Let me start by saying I took 12 days off work to have it done. Should have taken 2 days at most.  First day he called out said he threw his back out.  I was very understanding. First couple days never showed , said he felt better but never showed.  He then sent a young worker to take the shutters off and paint them.  The helper came (late) but came took the shutters off stacked them on side of my house and left.  Next day they were scheduled to come stayed home all day no show no calls, I called him didn't answer.  Next day he called me said did you get my message yesterday, I said no, he said "Oh I called" no he didn't I stayed home all day. Anyway, he said we will be there in 20 minutes,  6 hours later the helper came and set up the shutters to be sprayed.  He stared doing the wrong color I went outside and stopped him ,he changed to the correct color and then stacked the wet shutters on the side of my house with the paint wet.  When he left I went to look at the shutters on the side, I pulled them apart and laid them out to finish drying.  Now 12 days later I'm back at work knowing that I will fire them, I get a nasty message when I get home on my phone,  "Where were you today we wanted to paint the doors and we needed to get the doors open"  I called back got a machine, "I work you had 12 days to paint the door" At this point my house outside is in shambles I just want my shutters up until I find a good painter.  I called him to put the shutters up, he was arguing that he can't put them up until he paints the dental molding I stated I just want them up because I know he isn't painting anything else. After 10 minutes he agreed to put the shutters back up.  I said and after your done your services will no longer be needed.  I want home not expecting anyone to she, but late in the day the helper show and attempted to put the shutters up d*** a lousy job, they are barely hanging but I needed my house somewhat together I was having a party at my house. Please what ever you do.  " DO NOT LET THIS MAN OR ANY OF HIS HELPERS ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME"  VERY SLOOPY AND WHEN THEY TOOK THE SHUTTERS OFF THEY BENT MY SIDING.  WORST CONTRACTOR IN THE HISTORY OF MY LIFE. When I first checked him out in reviews he had some really bad ones and some good ones I went to relook at them knowing no one could write anything good about this company and I realized all the good ones were from the same account he was writing his own good reviews. JUST A REALLY BAD PERSONE IN LIFE. I hope the saying what goes around comes around because he deserves a dose himself.  Angies list rates A -F  however, if I could give a Z the worst I would.  Thank you

This was the worst painting contractor I have ever dealt with.  He never showed up on time.  In fact one time he called and said he would be there in 20 minutes and showed up 6 hours later.  They removed the shutters, painted them, and stacked them on top of each other still wet.  They of course stuck together and I repainted them myself. The next day I asked them to put the shutters back up.  He fought with me about this and eventually put them back up.  After that I fired him.

I looked into his reviews and the bad ones are very bad, and the good ones mostly seem to be from the same place.  I believe they are writing reviews on themselves.

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! Estimate was given and price to be paid 1/3 prior to start (3 weeks), 1/3 halfway point, 1/3 completion. Bob was happy to take deposit of $1,700. He scheduled within 3-4 weeks to start. 2 days in he claimed he was 1/2 way through the job and "demanded another 1/3", not even half the house was painted but the second payment was given to him the following day when a bit more was done. There was a family emergency in the middle of the job which is understandable but did not call or show the following day which was inconvenient. He was back on the job later the following week. I had been away on business and had left a check with my husband. He claims to have finished the job and again became extremely demanding and kept calling my husband and myself in the middle of the day demanding balance of money. We are both professionals and can not always leave our corporate jobs to handle home issues. I was receiving calls and texts and so was my husband to the point of shear harrassment and threats even while I was away on business. My husband was also threatened several times on the phone. With his boss hearing this go on, my husband left work to pay Robert. I have since called Robert and texted as he did not paint behind the shutters, did not paint the trim on chimney or around the 3 exterior lights and there are missed spots on chimney side and brush strokes in the back. This turned out to be the worst experience I have ever had!!!!

Very excellent and my neighbors came over and asked for his business.

After a missed first appointment, and Bob called to appologize before we could inquire about his missed appointment, Bob came out and gave us and estimate on exterior priming, cleaning, chaulking, sanding and painting our woodtrim surfaces on the exterior of our home, including dormers, gargage trim, door trim, etc. The painters arrived on the day planned and due to a change in the weather, they completed the job on a Saturday.

The job was professionally done at a good price. Bob Affet is helpful and did everything he said he would do. They forgot the second coat on 2 closet doors. Bob said he would send someone out to correct this, but we never scheduled it.

They were professional, courteous, and friendly workers. They're highly attentive to detail in the prep work and finished product. They minimized impact on other parts of the house and cleaned up after their work. They came in with a lower price than some other bids. It was a very pleasant experience. I recommend them completely.

THEY JUST DID A GREAT JOB. THERE WERE A LOT OF PITS AND UNEVENNESS IN THE WALLS THAT THEY FIXED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB OVERALL.

BOB AFFET AND HIS TWO CO-WORKERS WENT ABOUT THEIR WORK IN A VERY PROFESSIONAL WAY. THEY COVER UP EVERYTHING WHILE WORKING AND CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED. THE PRICE IS VERY REASONABLY IN LINE WITH OTHER BIDS THAT I RECEIVED FOR THE SAME JOB.

THEY HAVE REASONABLE RATES AND REALLY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. THEY PAINTED WALLS, CEILINGS, MOLDINGS, DOORS, KITCHEN CABINETS, WHOLE OUTSIDE, TRIM AND CHIMNEY. I WENT THROUGH FIVE PAINTERS TO GET THIS COMPANY. THEY PATCHED AND SANDED AND THE WALLS AND CEILING LOOK LIKE NEW.
