Initially, it looked very nice. After 1 season, many areas of peeling. I hired professionals because I wanted it to look better than if I had done it myself. I went on Atkins' reputation. When I saw the peeling, I contacted Atkins and they sent someone to look at it. I was then informed that it would cost an additional $400 to fix it! No response to my follow-up letter sent 7/16. The work was done at the specified time. It was done as agreed. It was done under budget. The work-site was fully cleaned up. It doesn't get much better than that.

Workers were prompt, effecient and friendly. Did a thorough job of cleaning the house, glass porch, deck and staining the deck. Great job.

The quote process was extremely prompt and professional. Benjamin Moore Arborcoat was selected, color Stonehedge.
The crew that did the work had the right equipment and were efficient and professional. Deck is about 800 sqft and total time on site was about 6 hours (pressure wash first day; sand and reseal second day). The guys were respectful of our property. I would recommend Atkins Deck but I did think they could have been a bit more careful in application of stain (getting stain in crevices and around screw heads) and the post-application cleanup.

Whole experience was handled very poorly, Poor communication. Owner was very snippy with me.

"customer was changed the scope of work to be done when my workers showed up to do the work. We were not being paid to remove and replace the "stuff" from her deck for us to do our work. When we informed her there would be additional cost for flipping the boards and moving her "stuff" this is when she fired us. We did not go back to put her "stuff" back since she fired us."
