My light went out a few days before so I needed it done ASAP. I took it in around 1530 and they were able to fix it immediately.

Auto Service
Terrible. My initial experience was good. I purchased a replacement tire and KK installed it on the wheel in a timely manner and the employees were helpful. Since my first experience was good, and after reading the A+ on Angieslist, I took my sons car to have the motor replaced. They quoted 2K. When I picked up the car I noticed that the mechanic had overfilled the oil by 1/2 qt, the heat shield was not installed, the air conditioner didn't work, and the Check Engine light came on when I got 2 miles from the shop. I called and they said to return the car. They took out the extra oil and got the air working (apparently the AC wiring was not connected). They told me that the heat shield wasn't necessary and that they could install a new one at my cost. They said the old heat shield was destroyed when removing the engine. I could have reluctantly overlooked these issues but, the Check Engine light I would not. They said the light never came on when they tested it. They charged me another 120 dollars to look at it. I made it another 2 miles when the light came on again. Back to the shop I went. They said it never came on when they tested it but to leave it overnight and they would look at it again. Again they said the light did not come on for them. I picked up te car and drove it another 2 miles and had to return it for the same reason. I told them the route I took when the light came on and they said that they had only driven it on local roads and never got up to highway speeds (55). They then tested it again at speed and found the problem. Wouldn't you think a mechanic would be a little more inquisitive than to take the car on local roads, twice, then tell me that the car is working and the issue did not present itself? Two days later they called and said it might be the O2 sensor and that it was difficult to remove and they may have to charge me for a new exhaust manifold if the sensor removal caused damage to the manifold. They were able to remove and replace the sensor and that corrected the problem with the light coming on. The cost was an additional 200+ dollars. By this time I was willing to overlook the heat shield and just get away from them. I paid the bill and asked if I could leave the car while my wife and I visited Harrisburg Kapona festival. They said it would be fine. I didn't look at the car at that time. Three hours later I came back for the car and I noticed that the doors had been left unlocked. The car had been sitting for three days in their lot with the doors unlocked! When I got in the car, I noticed that someone had tried to remove the stereo and had broken both the stereo and the dash. Since the store was closed when I picked up the car I took the car home and chalked the whole matter up to poor workmanship, poor customer service, and a disregard for customer satisfaction. After all, they charged me 2,000 dollars for a motor replacement then another 300+ to repair the engine, and I ended up with a broken stereo and no heat shield. This experience also cost me a week of not having the car available for use. I know I should have been more forceful but that's just not in my nature. Two days later, my son came home from college to get the car and drove about 25 miles and stopped for lunch. The car wouldn't start after leaving it sit for an hour while he ate. Rather than call a tow truck and take it back to KK, I took a chance and replaced the coil (>100$) myself and was lucky that it was the problem. On the positive side, I will say that the motor is running well and it sounds like a good motor. I just will not give them my business again. A month later I needed to replace the tires on another of my vehicles and took it to a different Good Year dealer in York County. They lost out on countless opportunities to maintain and repair my vehicles ( I have 4). I don't wish them any ill will I just hope this review helps them improve their customer satisfaction. This is my honest assessment of the KK experience I had. If they choose to contact me about this posting, I am available. And I hope my new dealer turns out to be better.

Auto Inspections
I have had a very good experience with this auto repair shop. They are a little bit pricey, but they are great. They have treated me very well and have kept my car running great. They make sure that the car has everything done so it will pass inspection.

I've never had a problem. They're very efficient and trustworthy people. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. They take the time to explain things you'll need and when you'll need them done. They don't try to sell you work that's not needed. Always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy.
