From the minute my husband and I went to Kahle's showroom and saw the beautiful kitchens displayed we knew we wanted their service.  Naturally we had to get second, third and fourth bids but always kept coming back to Kahle's.  They are so professional from the ideas they helped us with to the ideas we kept throwing at them.  We wanted a wall taken out between our kitchen and dining room.  They recommended a wonderful contractor that works with them for such things.  The cabinets are so beautiful and well made.  They guided us every step of the way without being pushy from the lighting to the counter tops to the cabinet hardware to the plumbing.  I would highly recommend them to everyone and I have!

Kahle’s Kitchens provided a written quote for our kitchen remodeling project - $23,657.32 in materials and estimated labor of $3,880.00. This quote was comparable to the other quotes we received, though they were not the lowest bidder. I was assured that the labor estimate would cover the project, with the exception of removal of an existing bulkhead that was to be billed at time and material. They billed the labor for the project at a whopping $8,805.00 which included $1,016.25 for travel time and loading they claim was not included in the labor estimate. They thought I'd bring the house to Leeper when they provided the original quote?? The design they provided turned out to be significantly more complex than their “installers” were capable of handling, requiring numerous visits to correct mistakes and repair damage they caused. The craftsmanship on the installation is absolutely horrible. They began work on February 16th and finished on April 28th. The kitchen area is only 13 feet x 14 feet. We received an invoice in the mail on May 19th. The sales rep explained in our phone conversation on May 20th, that if he had included labor in his quote for all of the things that went wrong in a project, they would not have gotten the job. He’s right. On at least one occasion, the lead installer arrived reeking of alcohol, and I should have sent him home. On many visits they stayed only for a few hours, and often left to work other projects the same day. They refused twice (on May 20th and May 22th) to meet to discuss the quality and billing issues. I sent a letter to the owner via courier on May 26th requesting a meeting to resolve the remaining issues. The response was a call from the sales rep suggesting that we let the lawyers handle it, so I guess that is where we are headed at this point. On June 15th we received a letter from a debt collection agency. One would think that a company that specializes in kitchens would have some expertise in this area. Workers were unprofessional, occasionally intoxicated, frequently inept. Invoicing practices are reminiscent of the 1950s aluminum siding scams.
