These people are just about the hardest working folks I have ever seen! I have used their services several times for chimney sweeping, installing a chimney liner, removing and replacing rake boards (in blazing hot sun), and painting hard-to-reach parts of a four story house. They are always cheerful, never complain and keep at a job till it is done and done right. And they find time if there is an emergency to come to help.Thanks Goe and Hector. Pat

Joe and his crew did a great job on our house. We hired him for some repointing and stucco work as well as repairing our sidewalk, roof and some timbers in front of the house. He was good about consulting with us about our situation and helping us figure out the best options. He communicated consistently throughout the project and even checked in after completion to make sure the work held up in the weather. Would hire him again for future projects.

Made every effort to book us quickly for a chimney in desperate need of cleaning, when it was more of a job than expected they were still able to return the same day and finish the job (a Very cold blustery day at that!) Also offered suggestions for other outdoor maintenance we hadnâ t thought of. Friendly and great to work with, reasonable prices.

These guys were great to deal with. Pleasant, conscientious, professional. I hired them to replace a chimney liner and to fill a concrete trench in my basement. At several points Joe recommended creative approaches to some problems in order to save me some money. Even when the job went into the evening, they remained cheerful. I will definitely consider them for future projects. (I docked them half a star for some concrete waste I found in the yard. No biggie; next time I'm sure they'll get 5 stars! ;))

We hired Surge initially for lawn care service through home advisor. They never showed up when they said they would but got the job done. We had added additional landscaping and hardscaping and had contracts for all of it. It has been over 5 weeks since their last mow (supposed to be biweekly) and they left the hardscaping project half completed. I am a mother of 2 and my husband is working away. My yard looks like a disaster and they just left us hanging. I am very disappointed

I am incredibly pleased with Surge Contracting! From our initial contact, Joe was reasonable and honest with his estimate and professional in his workmanship. My chimney needed an entire re-pointing of the stone with cement and mortar, re-building of the crown and installation of two caps. Joe and his crew produced an amazing final project in a timely manner as predicted in his estimate. Not only was I pleased with his work, but he was, as well - which seems especially important to me. Pictures before and after were of great benefit to me, the customer. I highly recommend this company with full confidence and expect to hire Surge Contracting again for additional projects. This company is one of the BEST I have found on Home Advisor!

Joe and Alex gave us the perfect solutions for 2 problem areas. Now our stove exhaust wall cap finishes off our newly installed range hood. The brick wall had to be slightly altered to get things lined up due to our previous original hood size no longer being made. The wall and seal is better than when we first bought our home with the original exhaust. Our front steps/stoop needed refinishing as the previous mortar-like coating was crumbling. Joe and Alex gave it a "brand new house" look in a tough area to work with. Our curb appeal is restored beautifully. Will be calling them for any/all masonry needed in the future. Thanks guys!!
