KOLOVANI BURNER SVC

The entire situation came about because my ceiling was leaking water in the hallway. when I peeked into my attic, I saw the air conditioning unit was leaking. so I decided to turn off the unit so it would not continue to leak. I grabbed my phone and googled "Plumber near Lebanon, PA". The first name that popped up was someone who said they could not respond for at least two days. So I contacted the second person on the list which was Kolovani's. The gentleman who answered the phone informed me he was the owner and that it would be an extra charge for an emergency service. I gladly obliged because i can most definitely understand the need to pay an additional charge for immediate service. Mr Kolovani said multiple times after I described to him exactly what was going on, that he was most definitely able to fix "any air conditioning unit made to date with ease." I made the appointment and the phone call ended there. Mr. Kolovani showed up shortly after and I opened the garage door so he can get into the attic with out having to lug his tools all around the house. He went upstairs into the attic where the air conditioning unit was and began to work. I left him to his business. He came down about 15 minutes later and said "wow I've never seen a unit like this one, but they're all the same it should be no problem." I asked him to please not work on anything he wasn't familiar with, in case there could be further damage and he frustradetly replied "I've got it." At this point I said ok and let him back to work. Five minutes later the entire side of the house he was working on lost power. He came down and told me that the unit cant be opened like all other units and that the water was overflowing onto the electric wires and that is what caused the surge that flipped the breaker. he said he was going upstairs to finish and at this point i let him go and immediately called my husband. My husband asked me to have him finish up and leave. so I did. however he told me that he got the water drained and asked me to flip the power back on to the unit and immediately after doing so ALL OF THE POWER IN THE HOUSE WENT OUT. I was very upset because my husband was at work and myself and my 3 year old daughter were the only ones home and i was dreadfully fearing an electrical fire. Mr. Kolovani came downstairs and in a frantic manner blurted out that he couldn't fix it and that he was going to go write up the bill. i called my husband while he was in the work van and told him what was happening and my husband advised me to let him give us the bill and inform him as soon as my husband gets home he will look over everything and contact Mr Kolovani regarding payment. When Mr Kolovani came back i stepped into the garage to speak to him because he was very upset and i didn't want him to scare my 3 year old. he asked me to sign this bill without letting me read it and i refused and told him my husband will be calling him that evening. HE LOST IT. HE STARTED SCREAMING AND WAVING HIS CLIPBOARD IN MY FACE SAYING THAT THERE WAS NO WAY HE WAS LEAVING MY HOUSE WITHOUT MONEY. I attempted to go back inside and Mr Kolovani stepped between me and my door to go inside and was screaming did i think he was playing or joking. My daughter began to hysterical cry on the other side of the door and I told him no i didn't think he was playing but that's how it was happening and that i needed to get to my daughter. Every time i tried to step around him he would step in my way. At this point I as scared beyond anything I've ever experienced in my life. I told him I was calling the police and he said he was first and moved and I ran inside and locked the door. However, he was still in my garage and i couldn't close the garage door because he wouldn't leave. I went to get the phone and when i returned to the door I saw he was leaving. so I did not call the police. 3 hours later my husband came home and called the number on the invoice and asked the man to return so he can be paid. Mr. Kolovani wouldn't return. so my husband went to the address listed on the invoice, which was labeled as the 'business address' and it was his apartment. He had no sign, office, warehouse or store front, it was just a plain apartment building. When my husband and I got there with our daughter, Mr Kolovani came outside his door and HELD A GUN UP AND POINTED AT MY HUSBAND. I screamed for my husband to get in the car & ran into our jeep. We immediately called police. I had had enough. my husband stayed outside the car and tried to speak to mr kolovani but that went no where. he just kept screaming he better get his money or else. the police got there and by then my husband was in our car waiting with me. the police arrived and we expained everything. HOWEVER because we were at his house since that was his place of business he could not be arrested. i was very upset about this. he handed the officers a reciept that when the officer showed us IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE WE HAD. on our copy it stated he couldnt fix because the unit was too old and that we needed a specialist. on his he mustve wrote up in the hours it took for my husband to return it stated that he told me on the phone he didnt work on air conditioning units but that i begged him to come. i couldnt help but laugh. i would never let someone who told me he doesnt work on air conditoners work on our unit. so we left and he was never paid. The next day we had another plumbing service known as CLARK and within 15 minutes they had the ONE SINGLE SCREW OFF the unit which held the filter that was very dirty and clogged and replaced the filter. The unit stopped leaking. Their technician also explained that we had the most popular unit and anyone trained to work on any Central Air unit would have known to check the filter first, and exactly how and where to work. For 4 straight days after Kolovani was at my home, we couldn't use the electric because the wires had to dry out. we were forced to stay in a local hotel. once we moved back in, for about a week, once or twice a day the electric would go out because the damp wires would trigger the breaker to slip and we would have to flip the breaker until the wires were completely dry. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS MAN TO MY WORST ENEMIES LET ALONE A WOMAN AT HOME BY HERSELF!!!! WITH CHILDREN IN THE HOME!!!! HE IS SCUM OF THE EARTH AND DOESNT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS FOR EVEN ANOTHER MOMENT!!!
