AMERICAN COUNTERTOP EXPERTS

The countertops and tile floors are beautiful. However, while removing the old countertop in the powder room, they scraped the paint off the wall in several places. Some of the plaster was gouged out, too. We had to paint a room we had not planned on painting. The contractor thought $50 dollars was a good settlement. We did not agree, but he would not budge. When they finished the toilet, it leaked. They had to return two times to fix it. Days later, we realized our bathroom sink was leaking. My husband decided just to fix that himself.
While the men were working, the argued constantly. One afternoon they were yelling and swearing at each other in our front yard. How embarrassing.
I really wish they were better plumbers and did not argue with and swear at each other, because the quality of their countertops is excellent. We have two more bathrooms to remodel, and we will most likely have to find someone else.

The professionalism, and quality of work this business does is off the charts! They had the job done in one day, with just two guys! The men were very personable and polite about laying painters cloths to protect the carpeting since it was December and wet that day. They worked diligently all day, no breaks! They did have a couple snags but that was due to the builder of the home. First the counter in the sink area had to be shimmed to bring it up to level with the other counters. Then when reconnecting my sink plumbing, the original connection would not reseal, but Duke (the owner of Amer Countertops) came out himself with a replacement part and had it working in no time. They cleaned up after themselves, gave us tips on how to clean the quartz, and when they left my kitchen had taken on a whole new look!! I highly recommend the quartz over granite, even tho it costs more, it's worth it in the end. I would definately recommend this company and would buy from them again. I am so happy with my new countertops!

I would recommend them, they did a great job. They have great communication. I think it's a husband and wife team, and they explained everything really well to us, it was great.
